I’m asking in response to this.

When the AOTC mount comes around, I come to the forums (and various social media sites) specifically looking for gold carry ads; I’ve always found them in the realm forums, though.
- Posting an ad invites others to report it as spam. Post at your own risk.
- You’re much less likely to get backlash in a realm-specific forums, IMHO
- Definitely don’t use the in-game LFG tool for ads; that’s not allowed. (I know you didn’t say you were using it; I’m posting this for posterity.)
- If you do this in-game, in a chat channel, do so very sparingly. Again it’s up to the public to flag spam, so you open yourself up to penalties. (Ditto the posterity thing.)
Also, I’m not sure how long a gold run ad would stay on the front page of GD - probably not much more than a couple minutes. It might not be worth your while. Good luck either way.

Per their claim of reports against it being dropped, doesn’t seem like it isn’t allowed, at least.
It doesn’t brush up against the Forum CoC.

If a player is found to have participated in such actions, he/she will:
- Be given a temporary ban from the forums, depending upon severity
I would say just submit your report and let Blizzard handle it. Spam would be the go-to.
