I basically had this exact same discussion with a professional reviewer. Part of his response to me;
Which the 3 6 mm heat pipes end up being the limitation.
CRYORIG H7 - 3 heatpipes
CM Hyper 212X - 4 heatpipes
(its an improvement over the 212 EVO and the 212 before that) So keep in mind even with the improvements CM has made the Hyper 212X is barely better than the H7 but has more heat pipes etc and yet can’t convincingly beat it thats the difference in quality.
Noctua NH-U12S - 5 heatpipes better quality still similar weight etc but performs better due to a more optimized design and fan.
Essentially, more heatpipes more heat transfer
The H7 Quad Lumi is an H7 with an extra heatpipe. That extra heatpipe translated into 3’C drop in temps vs the regular H7. The H7 is a good cooler but the other issue is overall wattage.
4770k to 6700k wattage stayed roughly the same. Where as the 8700k added more cache and cores Under OC load the CPU will hit 160w in FPU load where as previously CPUs were around 120-130. 30 more watts of heat to dissipate.
So keep in mind that with each generation of chip the OC has gotten higher, thermal transfer is getting worse, TDP has increased etc. Meaning the H7 is being asked to do more than before and thus why its starting to fall back.

I still haven’t found a more attractive air tower cooler than the QL. At least not from the RGB perspective.
The logo cutout lighting is really well done.

i can help with that. show you the one i used to work next to years ago it is so damn gross that you wouldn’t want to eat there. take you their when they are cutting fish too. the fish smells so damn rancid.
tons of L&L’s here though. we need a chipotle here but sadly the price will be so high that people would just rather go to taco bell instead. people here be cheap af when it comes to food yet splurge on sh** they don’t need like lifted tacoma’s XD
I worked in restaurants when I was a kid. Nothing really bugs me anymore, LOL.
Cook it long enough on the grill it will be okay
not fish lol. fish is more delicate compared to like beef and pork. well i mean seafood in general.
i think it will bug you though man the smell is so dank. been working in the field for many years its just so off putting. never once in my life smelled fish that bad and this coming from a store 2 stores down. i know they aint cutting hundreds of pounds either
i take you to another restaurant i worked at for only a few days and walked out. fish restaurant but the fish they put it in the trash cans we use for trash and they never wash it XD
Worked in a lot of places, including those that sold fresh fish and seafood.
I mean, yeah there’s gonna things that gross me out…but I’ll never be surprised by it.

lol yea i know what u mean since we work in um. im just surprised how some of these places pass health inspection. worked in a USDA factory and the inspectors are pretty strict on some of the dumbest things.
right now i work in a retirement home for rich people so we can’t let that stuff slide.
The bugs are extra protein
never worked at a restaurant with bug issues so far mostly its just mfers who just don’t clean. that kinda stuff get you shut down real quick here they gonna rat you out to the health inspectors XD
