Nah.
We suffered through 400ms spell batching for nearly all of Classic. Blizzard can listen to the community and make proper changes sooner this time around.

I donāt have any power concerning what version of TBC blizzard releases, I know damn well this isnāt authentic TBC, but itās as close as weāll get, also people like you that think these terrible āgotchasā are good debate are idiots.
but itās as close as weāll get
If you added Dual Spec, it would still be the closest thing. By definition because it is the only thing.
Besides private servers, anyway.
Why didnāt you just go to a private server if āauthenticā matters so much to you?
P servers arnāt authentic either, and again, my argument for p servers was specifically referring to the community there enjoying the game for what it is, and how p servers avoid ātouristsā playerrs, NOTHING TO DO WITH GAMEPLAY, another pathetic āgotchaā attempt.
How about they donāt give you what youāre crying for and YOU can unsubscribe? After all, itās your crowd that is threatening to cry if baby does not get its bottle.
So, back what I said:
If you added Dual Spec, it would still be the closest thing. By definition because it is the only thing.
How about they donāt give you what youāre crying for and YOU can unsubscribe?
No, wait, I know!
How about they give me and thousands of other people what we want and weāll stay subscribed.
Yeah, I like that much better.
You are the minority, the vast majority of people that actually enjoy the game do not care.
Catering to the whiny minority is how we got to retail.
Do you understand how bad the game would be if they just gave every single person every demand they wanted?
People like you are pathetic āGive me this or I quit!ā Yeah go ahead and quit then, nothing of value would be lost with you tourists leaving.
Okay, letās stop the āmuh sideā cheerleading for a second and realize weāre talking about Blizzard here. Currently in PR shutdown, arenāt doing jack Blizzard, mind you.
Which of these options are more likely:
Go through the effort of putting dual spec in the game for a few whiny babies who canāt cope?
Do nothing.
Now remember, put what you WANT aside, ignore the voices in your heads, and stop the wishful thinking and think about what is more likely to happen.
If you want it go create a private server yourself. Otherwise QQ less.
You are the minority
Not when it comes to dual-spec, I am not.
vast majority of people that actually enjoy the game do not care.
Delimicus has data that proves otherwise.
Catering to the whiny minority is how we got to retail.
Nope, sorry. Thatās not how player feedback works.
Do you understand how bad the game would be if they just gave every single person every demand they wanted?
No. Do you have numbers on that?
āGive me this or I quit!ā
Quote me saying anything even remotely close to this. Go ahead, Iāll wait.
Which of these options are more likely:
When given two choices, always go with #3. Thatās my policy.
Another thread made by another narcissist that thinks the World(of Warcraft) should revolve around them.
Sorry, Delimicus has bias data pulled from fan sites and is bogus.
That being said, I welcome dual spec. It would be nice to play more of the game without being penalized for my raid spec choice.
And you will get it WotLK classic
Ya know, this is a poor argument at this point.
Blizzard intended on several of the Wrath systems to be in BC, but didnāt have the dev time to accomplish them. Dual spec was one of them.
#nochanges is dead. Blizzard should be doing moderate changes based on development original intent. Dual Spec fits this.
Itāll be here in wrath. Not sooner, get over it.
Dual spec is not a good idea in TBC. It simply isnāt designed for it and would most likely twist the game balance in ways that we can think of and also in many other yet unknown ways.
I meanā¦ a lot of the changes that were made to create what is now retail turned many of the old guard off the game as they changed the vibe of the game from a MMO to a single player game with group features.
Maybe they could reduce the respec cost cap. That would still make you to take a trip to OG and be a deterrent to just respec at a whim.
also, #nochanges should be brought back. almost all of the changes that they did so far were pretty bad, like the decision to start from patch 2.4 (one of the worst patches of TBC) with the UI features of retail, start arena ratings from 0 instead of 1500 and so onā¦
The only appropriate changes would have been bugfixes, but not even those were done. The stalker in H-UB still levitates the tank and evade bugs for example. Pets still bug out in the infamous Shattered Halls corridor and so on.
The other option would have been to make #nochanges servers and TBCretail servers.
I can argue that dual spec could be considered a bug fix. But Iāll table that for now.
Starting at patch 2.4 would have been fine, had they implemented the 2.4 versions of the dungeons and raids. Right now weāre playing with character math from 2.4 and dungeons designed for full consumes and character math from 2.0. Thatās the real problem. If theyād implement the 2.4 versions of the dungeons and raids, honestly dual spec may not even be needed.
But as it is nowā¦
Look we were asking for cost reduction and dual spec 15 years ago. Blizzard said āDURING BCā that they were working on it. Not thinking about it, working on it. They agreed THEN that it was needed.
Game balance isnāt affected by people being able to enjoy the game. Itās a strawman argument, because all dual spec really did in Wrath was increase the population that casually PVPād.
#Nochanges is a cancer, and should be treated as such. Itās been and is being used for those who want to exploit mechanics and systems. Blizzard needs to follow Original Intent development if they want this to succeed.
Still havenāt seen one that paid 50g
