Hello!
I tried to hit up the rares in Arathi Highlands and I can’t loot any of the mobs that drop mounts. I’m on a character that has not ever killed them. I was only able to loot one mob, Beastrider Kama. Every other mount I killed was un-lootable. What is the issue with this? Will I see loot mailed to my mailbox?

No this is still not resolved. I can only loot them on one character ONCE per cycle. This is honestly a joke. I have seen other complain about this and there is no fix that i’ve found. Having a mount that can only drop once a month MAYBE is a bit much.

I fixed this issue on my characters by attaining the heart of azeroth on them - prior to having it I couldn’t loot arathi rares - but, I just tested it on my alts after getting the heart of azeroth - and all of them can loot now.
It takes 2-3 minutes to get the heart of azeroth.

I’m killing them on the character that I mained in BFA and I am not getting any drops either. unfortunately I don’t think having HoA is the fix.
Also having this issue on a character that has the necklace. 1/3 rares I kill will actually drop loot, others won’t drop a thing. Very frustrating.
Same issue with me now as well 6 months and no fix??
Can confirm this is still going on. Tried on multiple toons that have never done it before and no loot at all

Tried it today on my main toon, having the same issue. 
I really want the mog set too.
I had this same issue. I went to get heart of azeroth and now everything is dropping for me. Thank you.
I believe the problem is actually that your faction has to be in control of the zone for you to get any drops; you can’t just fly to Darkshore/Arathi and get drops every week. Ever since I stuck to that, I haven’t had any problems, even on new characters. You also do need to get the HoA to use the portals to the zones
same issue here… I am lvl 70 has the heart of azeroth came back another day can loot mobs but not rares
I came back on another toon and was able to loot the first rare I killed but after that I was left lootless and I am an avid pet and mount hunter this is a sad state of affairs
same here I have tried on 2 different toons same result
FWIW I followed the above advice and took a boosted alliance warrior at 63 (some exp from dragonflight), got Magni’s quest from the Boralus portal, and then got the HoA. That allowed me to start looting after the first 2 mobs didn’t drop anything.

just because people don’t like how something works, doesn’t mean it’s bugged.
This is not so much a bug, as a game feature. You must be wearing your Heart of Azeroth in order to be eligible for Loot Drops. Have already confirmed this works. You cannot have in your inventory, you must have it equipped
