Arathi Basin Weekend Bonus not active

Bug: It appears that the Arathi Basin Weekend event is not active as announced in this post by Kaivax: Double Honor and Darkmoon Faire Coming to Pre-patch. It’s currently rewarding double the base rate from the special Battlegrounds window for the pre-patch, but it’s not awarding the double reputation or double honor on top that is expected.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Compete in Arathi Basin map
  2. Check log for honor/reputation gains. Currently gaining 10 defilers reputation / 40 honor per tick. Expected would be 20 rep (double rep from weekend event) and 80 honor / tick (double from weekend event + double from special BG window).
  3. Check honor pane after the match. Honor gained is consistent with the values in the log.

Can confirm have the same issue, and this is taking into account the tooltip not being accurate.

+1 to this post, also seems to only be counting the regular 2x bonus that was applied to all bgs not the 2x bonus and the 2x bonus to AB

Not active for me either.

The Battleground weekend for Arathi Basin doesn’t award double honor. It increases the number of honor “ticks” you receive:
