Considering how simple and easy it is to log, and the fact that it only takes 1 person out of 40 to log the entire guild. A lot more guilds then you think log, go ahead and look at how many guilds are logging on your server you might be surprised. Also was told by one of our officers who doesn’t care about numbers or parsing that he likes the logs because its a very simple and reliable method to record attendance for gear distribution. So while it might be somewhat skewed its by far the best data we have, and it is overwhelming showing that a VAST majority of guilds are clearing the content considering you would need just as many guilds not logging as ones logging and they would pretty much all need to be failing to clear in order to get close to 50/50 and that just isnt not happening.
Yea, a whole 10 guilds, across both factions.
no it wasnt, at all. they released stuff as it was ready
That’s time gated still.
We just know the exact times ahead of time this time around
They made sure stuff became ready when they wanted to release it.
time gated is when they tell you to come back tomorrow to proceed like they do in retail
content not being ready is just that
They told us, tune in in 3 months for XYZ
Nothing came as an absolute surprise.
And many times, the patches were held for a specific release point.
Probably to build anticipation.
And the person you replied to is still correct.
The new stuff coming out was a big part of vanilla.
Something some people really don’t like now, but other people are enjoying getting to sort of relive that part of vanilla.
It is not 100% the same, not possible to recreate it fully without mind wiping everyone, but it works.
some people sure, there are some people that are ready now too. i liked the pace on northdale, everything in less than a year
But that is not how vanilla happened.
We didnt pop in the install CD, fire up the game and say
OMGZRS LOOK!! Its NAXXRAMUS! and AQ40!
So why would we do that now?
There’s 27 guilds on Windseeker that have logged boss kills on warcraftlogs. How many guilds are there in BWL that aren’t logging? I bet less than 10.
Damn zoomers.
A lot more than 10
Also, if say you are running BWL, and you are a few short in attendance, and some people from my guild and another flesh out the rest of your group 7 and group 8, and you are logging.
Now we show up in a log, you can go look us up.
We are not logging though. We dont really count exactly.
I can’t even name a single raiding guild on Heartseeker that doesn’t log.
Heartseeker =/= Windseeker though.
It’s PVP, larger Pop, and not really full of casual players from what i remember.
Lucky for you, you can wear a full suit of fang armor from wailing caverns if you wanted to!
i dont care about that, vanilla wasnt in 2020 either
No, slow the F down.
hey some want classic to last forever and some want to get on to tbc.
The release TBC independently. Rushing classic for an expansion not that everyone wants to play is selfish.
Classic happened because players wanted Vanilla. We didn’t get Classic because players wanted TBC or WotLK for that matter.
id release it now if it were up to me
