Who Is Nethis?
Nethis–often referred to as “Six” by her friends and associates–was born in Elwynn Forest during the siege of Stormwind City. Her biological mother was a powerful archmage who was well-versed in surrogacy. Nethis was the woman’s sixth child before she was killed in the siege. Nethis was rescued and delivered to Westfall where the two loving mothers anticipated her arrival.
Nethis was raised alongside her five other siblings in the town of Moonbrook. Each child was unique, but they all shared the same physical qualities, appearing very similar, however they are not identical. At the age of eight years old, Nethis began playing the lute in Moonbrook’s library, accruing small funds that would eventually go towards her education. Nethis would later attain a role in the library as an assistant and at the age of fourteen, lands a two year paid apprenticeship program with the infirmary in Sentinel Hill.
At sixteen years old, Nethis had saved enough to pay for three courses and a dorm on campus at Briarwood Academy in Elwynn Forest. These courses heavily focused on the arcane and magic. Nethis was unable to complete her training after being expelled for [REDACTED]. After being expelled, Nethis returned home as the Defias Brotherhood began its uprising. The young Quel’dorei immediately joined a local militia that attempted to defend Moonbrook from the brotherhood. Her medical skills on the field during combat were invaluable to the Moonbrook Militia. They were eventually forced to retreat to Sentinel Hill where many of the members of the original militia serve as guards today.
After returning to Sentinel Hill, Nethis was offered an invitation to attend Baywood Institute, a small medical school located in the mountains of Redridge. She spent her next two years at the institute, then transferring to a school within the city to continue her education, ultimately earning her a career as registered nurse. After finishing her schooling however, word arrived that her family’s cottage had collapsed in a fire. While there were no deaths or injuries, all of the expenses are impossible for her impoverished family to cover. The young elf now works a series of odd jobs to support her mothers and siblings.
Instead of resuming her career in medicine however, Nethis is actively searching for a mentor in the field of Arcane and magic. If any soul would like to take Nethis on as an apprentice, please contact me!
My character Thea is a former professor of magic and history who worked as a member of the Kirin Tor for several decades. She’s not an archmage, but she is a seasoned mage, and teaching is in her blood. She’s since moved back to her homeland of Kul Tiras, and is always open to tutoring new students in the ways of magic.
