It’s all good. I do apologize once again if it felt like I devalued your experience - not at all, I just found it unfair to inflate the situation as thats not at all the entire reality. Do these bad experiences occur? Totally, it happens, and we’re always sad to hear folks get discouraged at one too many creeps. Moon Guard HAS an underbelly.
But there’s enough good that we’re generally willing to help folks out, or we have our own tales of silliness, drama or whatnot that goes beyond ‘Goldshire’.

I don’t even RP and I still think TRP3 profiles are wonderful. Hopefully Blizzard doesn’t go through with any changes that would ruin them.

Blizzard doesnt want you RPing in their MMO-G, they have painstakingly removed all the RP.

The creeps and questionable happenings don’t keep me out of RP, the truth is, I don’t think I’m a good writer and I’d rather do high keys than feel inadequate at writing. I sometimes will stealth around Stormwind while I’m working from home and read prose that could rival any NYT bestseller, right out in the open in /say. Some really talented people on MG and its a daunting scene lol. I’m just shy, in short.

Oh I totally get that as a socially anxious person- with an anxiety disorder too and on the spectrum - but that’s the hardest mechanic in getting into RP.
Everyone starts out somewhere with writing. I myself am no expert, but I always try and focus on making a fun story that folks can engage with. Folks have said thanks for me hosting events and whatnot or helping others to do so, and it always makes me smile.

Well, now you’re just buttering me up. Maybe someday I will! I have some people try to pull me into stuff, like I said, been here almost 10 years, I do have a lot of friends who I envy for their writing capabilities and creativity. I’m a lore junky, in addition to being a PVE enjoyer, so coming up with backstories and TRP3s is not hard, its just the rest of it that is.

Like I said; come by the cathedral some days. Aside from some annoyances like Scarlets who say they’re 100% welcome to wear a tabard that’d demark em’ as a villain, the community we got here is pretty welcome, some of us got our own stories of being jaded by some stuff.

Threre’s a lot of people that come from other servers to disrupt RP, now THAT is something Blizzard never actions because a GM has to be online and witness it apparently.
