Apparently RP addons are doomed-ish?

I mean, it doesn’t make sense to create a warrior woman who goes off into combat in a bikini.

And furthermore, those are suggestions. It didn’t say anything about enforcement.

curvy women in bikinis are fine with me, as a woman.

I just want attractive men running around shirtless too.

It’s all about equality, see. Devil May Cry gets it.

I think the only use I get out of addon coms is DBM warning me it’s out of date when someone with a newer version joins my raid.

I disagree - people were speculating this addon change was a bug, I suggest based on other things they are doing it may not be.

I mean… thanks for the OP bumps I guess?

I really am not trying to derail your thread but there is also the business of we had to agree to all our conversations to be monitored.

Well, don’t see the female NPCs becoming more uncovered, only male, and most of the male body proportions are the most exaggerated in the game and continue to be so.

This. People really are on the forums crying all skimpy clothes are banned when we’re getting those dresses in the trading post every month…

Some people just won’t be happy unless 90% of gear is underwear and you have to bend over backwards to dress your female toon in anything else.

I mean you should see how much Twitter is crying because they added a bit of clothing to an outfit for Stellar Blade. You’d think Sony put her in a burqa.

The amount of times I see people on GD refer to regular shirt+pants as “dressing like a nun”…

Get TRP3 and spend some time reading on MG and it quickly becomes apparent that hardly anyone uses it for actual RP purposes. I’ve read some of the most debauched and desperate stuff on there lol.

I can’t say I blame Blizzard or Microsoft for wanting to break it when way more deviants use it than actual RPers. It is a hassle to report what you see in a TRP3 and it skirts the edges of what is acceptable in Blizzard games more often than not. Links to other non-Blizzard websites and artwork of people’s characters that are essentially p-graphic. I’m not sure how TRP3 has survived this long and I am not sure if it is even moderated by Blizzard.

I honestly didn’t even know there were rp addons. Learn something everyday I guess.

The concern here is, Blizzard very often does let bugs through from PTR regardless. We’ve seen it happen plenty of times.

So even if it is a bug - and goodness, it had better be, because this is the quickest way to kill a good portion of your game’s population off otherwise - the likelihood of it being fixed is dependent on how many people bang on their doors about it. :sob:

I would like to personally thank every player who has 10 weakauras to tell them if they are standing in fire or not.

Except there’s RP communities other than Moonguard goldshire, Moonguard itself also has Stormwind and Horde on WrA is vibin doing it’s own thing

This needs to be reverted ASAP!

The rate changes can potentially affect all addons since all of them use it, but it will be RP addons that suffer most.

Even the majority of people walking around in Stormwind on MG have some cominbation of graphic character descriptions, “F lists”, and links to questionable content that I’m sure Microsoft would love to distance themselves from. It sucks to those using it for its intended purpose, though.

Quick question:

WHERE are you seeing this? I always hear folks say that, but never do I ever see that. Ever. Rare moon that I see anything lewd or see an F-list outside of Goldshire.

Agreed.

Yes, sometimes there is Goldshire leakage to be found in Stormwind. And yes, there are a fair amount of people who do appear to utilize TRP/roleplay as a whole, as a means to search out e-dating partners… but for the most part, everyone uses TRP as it is intended.

It is very odd to try and claim otherwise. Perhaps it is only like that on the Horde side of Moon Guard, and that is why they possess this assumption? Because I certainly do not see it at all on either Alliance Moon Guard, nor Horde Wyrmrest Accord.
