Apparently, not trading raid loot is a kickable offense

I didn’t say put their names on the forums, I said next time this happens tell the person you’re going to do this.

p.s. I have to point out how silly your post looks. First you said this:

Then this:

Then you said this:

Then this:

It makes my eyes twitch.

Um…in a guild anything is a kickable offense.

What? No one mentioned guilds.

More of an explanation would have probably helped:

“Yes, I am collecting the transmog. I would give it away otherwise, but it is my full reason for coming here :sob:

I think it was that you said you did not need it, to the query, then also said no to them having it. See what you did there? In the context it makes you seem more like you are just being mean.

I’m the first to say no one gets your personal loot, but then there is “diplomacy.”

The funny thing is, I get a 385 cloak nearly every other day from something (emissary, etc.) So no idea why the other person was wanting a kick.

I want to raid in whatever server group you’re in. Here’s the same conversation from raids past:

“yo! need that cloak?”

“Yes. For transmog”

"Lol transmog? R U h*mo? Shut up and trade (opens trade).

“No thanks (closes trade)”

“wat the h***. That’s a 15 stat upgrade and u already have a better cloak. (expletive)”

“ok” (puts on ignore)

I may have transposed past experiences onto Spobo. Perhaps he would have been polite about it, but I’ve been burned enough times to not mention transmog in these situations.

Again…

I’m starting to think this entire situation didn’t happen.

But you already said:

Which is it? People take no for an answer most of the time? Or they so rarely take no for an answer that you’ve deliberately adopted an antagonistic stance against anyone who asks you for loot?

1 hand = up to 5 instances. I shared the worst and don’t care to repeat it. Given the choice, I’ll take #2.

That is so untrue in a good guild. Don’t paint every guild with the same paintbrush, please.

I too am a cynic and respect your right to question stories on the internet. I also know it’s futile to try to convince a cynic on the internet, so let us part ways in peace. Thanks for commenting.

Good guilds are good because when people show the attitudes of OP’s, they’re booted out the door without a second thought.

Ok, well in a raid anything is a kickable offense. Better?

I didnt say every guild kicks randomly for no good reason.

I said anything CAN be a kickable offense in a guild.

Context is your friend in this case. Otherwise people assume. My bad.

This is my view and thanks for keeping it positive. I’ve had only a handful of real negative experiences within the game.

He asked if he could have the cloak and the answer was no. I’m not sure how unclear that was.

OP didn’t mislead.

The question.

The Answer.

Your post is as absurd as it is amazing. Hence the heart from me.

Why don’t you try rereading the OP? This is how it actually went:

Nahh, I always give people gear that I don’t need. It’s a very nice gesture. I can see if it was a weapon though that looks REALLY cool and already have a transmog set in mind

It’s your loot and it is “just a pug” but i’m sure you can try to be a little more empathetic too… if you saw a player get an item you could use wouldn’t you ask? Wouldn’t hearing it was for transmog or sharding feel a little bad? Selfishness can be a two-way street.

You can’t blame some folks here for not being on your side especially when your post reads so snippy.

Just leave it on the body next time if you don’t want to interact with other group members.

Keep in mind that OP said that SPECIFICALLY after they said they didn’t need the cloak.

Especially since saying you don’t need an item heavily implies that you’re willing to trade it.
