Simple fix to your issue then. Don’t have any requirements to list that someone has AotC, thus you won’t get bombarded with AotC achieve links.
Go into the raid as if you are sure fire confident in everyone’s ability and as it progresses or fails, weed out the subpar people who aren’t pulling their weight?

Yeah but this issue only affects you and not a vast majority. So your feedback is a singular aspect, it’s not something that anyone else has an issue with. If you’re worried about being spammed with AotC links then just say “Don’t whisper AotC” in your group description.

i charge nothing. i do carries for free, because i was once an ultra-casual completionist whose endgame was mog and gold farming and i remember how awful it was to see all these exclusive things i didn’t feel i could earn and how i felt pressured to buy them before they were gone forever.

Or… stop placing some sense of worth on an achievement. If it means nothing like a lot of you complain it does… why do you care so much about it?
Does it really bother you that someone paid 150k for a mount? I earned AOTC in MoP, WoD and Legion. My guild stopped raiding at the start of BfA and I lost interest interest in raiding. Im still a mount collector at heart.
if you want a viable metric of someones ability to get through a raid… use the armoury feature here on the website… you know, how we used to do it back in the day before everyone became lazy and want to blizz to do all the ground work for them.
If someones ability to get through a raid is so important to you, do the ground work when forming a pug. Tell people you are going to armoury them. Those who are serious will wait, those looking for a carry will move on.
