Wrath was the first xpac with AOTC it just wasnt called AOTC. Look at the achievements for the raids and the rewards same as the AOTC rewards.
More retailed styled additions we don’t need, but hey at least we don’t have RDF…

Thats cool actually. And I don’t think beating all Ulduar hard modes is gonna be easy enough even with gear to down them reliably with buyers. Especially with Algadon on a 1 hr timer. You’d have to put down a pretty significant amount of money for guilds to waste their shot at BIS loot on the chance they’ll be able to carry you through it.

Yea kinda jealous of those. Pretty cool and relatively unique since I can’t imagine many people actually raided SOM relative to the entire WOW pop.
Soul of Iron is probably gonna be the rarest title in the entire game, right up there with the server firsts. I cant imagine getting all the way to 60 without dying once. Even with help that’s crazy…

Guilds (admittedly only the really elite ones) are already able to beat the hardest content in Ulduar with only Naxx gear. 23-24 manning probably won’t be hard at all a couple months in especially with increased ilvl gear for good guilds.
Gonna be stupidly expensive though for what you get. Only gold buyers would likely ever consider getting carried for it.
I think 3 guilds managed Alganon and none have done XT. That’s the best guilds in the world, in the best possible Naxx gear (there were epic armor vendors on PTR) after days of attempts which people won’t have on live because of the 1 hour/week timer…

the achieves already existed in some form originally they just weren’t feats of strength. Calm down

Bull, only the server first ones did. The AotC garbage didn’t start until later, it wasn’t in Wrath. Stop the gaslighting.
Blizzard needs to knock this off NOW. A lot of us tolerated the Heroic+ dumpster fire because it doesn’t really affect us, BUT THIS WILL.
Knock it off before you get a chunk of us demanding refunds of sub time and canceling accounts.

Adding this is my red line. AotC DOES NOT belong in Classic. It’s toxic and complete garbage, always has been and was one of the reasons I unsubbed at the end of MoP. Every guild I was in that didn’t get it fell apart at the end of the raid tier. I’m not going through that again.

This is a good point.
All the people who are mediocre at wow but don’t raid log will say “hey we cleared naxx 25 and got bis every week, my guild must be the problem”
Watching these guilds implode because they don’t have access to the best gear anymore for sleepwalking through naxxaramas will be pretty funny

Achieves to kill bosses with specific ilvl gear, the time when you received Alone in the Darkness all act as Ahead of the Curve…especially getting Mims head because it was a 100% drop rate until Cata dropped.
Achievements alone are a AOTC because they are time stamped.
So go ahead and throw a childish temper tantrum because a feat of strength that awards no points is put in the game.
