Anyway to get around dragon riding?

Ion already said regular flying will be added at a later patch.

But even if he didn’t, I don’t see what’s so wrong about re-envisioning a flight system in a video game into something that’s far more engaging and aligned with being an actual game.

sometimes really feels like Ion and crew are in here posting on alts lmao, trying to TELL you what you’d better like or not.

Thank you, there are people who are with you on this. Well said.

My wife of nearly 20 years has it.
My best friend has it.
The last major GF I had before getting married years ago had it.
Another girl i dated in HS had it.
My friends sister has it.

You ever come outside your house into the real world?
you DO know its common enough that they make OVER THE COUNTER meds for it, correct?

Maybe speed just wasn’t the primary concern before, or the main factor when it comes to judging convenience?

For example, if I’m out farming minerals, which I can do for hours, I focus a lot on the mini-map to see what I’m looking for vs. needing to keep track of how my own mount is doing. Going faster is a nice benefit, but if I’m wasting time by overshooting a target because I’m too fast or having to wait for a meter to refill, I’d rather be more precise than fast.

I don’t have a problem with the concept. Hell, I don’t even have that much of an issue with making it mandatory. I have a problem with the execution.

They could easily see what worked and what didn’t from the GW2 flyers, there is literally mountains of data to look at. People have for years said that flying the Skyscale feels like flying a brick in terms of maneuverability. Many have oft commented that the Griffin is so much better in terms of flying that the only reason everyone uses the Skyscale is because it can gain altitude. So they copied that (right down to the the Mastery track unlocks, sorry “Talents”), made it even more sluggish in terms of maneuverability and removed the ability to hover in mid air while not draining stamina.

They just did a bad job of making DR engaging. It’s like flying a brick with wings.

I suppose I disagree with that sentiment. I don’t think dragon riding feels sluggish at all. In fact, I think it feels quite responsive.

ok now that you have posted your experience it has totally changed my life experience and I just magically remember meeting so many now.

I am glad your experience supersedes anyone else life.

by your joke illogic, guy…obama doesnt exist cuz I personally never met the man lmao.
Guess it didnt occur to you that if 50 out of 100000 players are getting sick those 50 MIGHT come in here to complain while the 100000 have no reason to. eh?

What? firstly, English? Secondly, at no point did I infer it does not exist. Only stated it seems to be every second person playing this game has it.

Good effort though

No, you have to do it in the main story line, and one dungeon requires it for efficiency to skip trash mobs and save dozens of minutes of time.

Is the quickest way to do every thing around the isle. You are jumping all over the place and completing quests like a piece of cake.

According to the CDC and other sources, 1/3 of Americans do suffer from motion sickness, which isn’t a majority number but is still quite a lot.

However, if I didn’t know any better, the forums would have made me believe it’s literally every person who has ever lived.

there’s enough people who hate it that both should be available it’s not a hard fix.

That is my point. it seems to be a major issue in America it seems compared to Australia but the forums make you believe it is everyone

Compared to this:

DRing is like flying a brick with wings

Seriously? it’s a requirement to do a dungeon?

WTH???

Are you kidding? Dragonriding is easy.

Late reply but this is kinda it. I like DR. I never want to go back to regular flying, and when it inevitably comes back my old mounts will be relegated to herbing duty.

A lot of us genuinely adore DRing - the speed, the control, just how it looks! They can coexist and Blizzard needs to stop being afraid of the merits of their own content.

strong contender for the worst opinion of the century.
