This is all we want, keep the OG 4 tints as exclusive, add one extra like the Fel werebear and make it very challenging to get.

Why would I care?
When I find something I really like, I share with and show my family, my friends, my co-workers so if they are interested they can get it too. When someone stops me on the street and asks me where I got something and I have to tell them, sorry you can’t get it anymore, I don’t feel good and special, I feel bad for them that they can’t have something that would have made them feel good.
I may do selfish is some area (do not touch my ice cream) but this is not one of them.

Happy for you because I’m not a special snowflake with epeen issues? You having something I have doesn’t lessen my enjoyment.
It’s simply very druid biased like always to add a new reskin for druids but give nobody else a reskin. Class is way too spoiled as it is and they get extra even here.
so according to wowhead only 29% of all profiles have A challenging look: If wow has lost almost 50% of there subs can we be fair (but assume) we take 50% away from that 29% which means 14.5% of players have the skins.
if we are to believe 26mil active players that means 3,770,000 have the skins: again all very rough numbers my point is more players active that missed it/started late/that don’t have it then the few people that do.
True, as many other systems, how many island people spammed in early BfA? Only to the Azerite Power acquisition to be immensely buffed months later, people wasted hours and hours on that.
People spent insane amounts of money on corruptions before the vendor and the other things they done, getting that infinite stars, then what happened?
People farmed for mogs like Tusks, Taeschlach, mounts, in current expansions having a really hard time, now others can go back and breaze thorugh them and get it, spamming with alts.
I got my tusks on SL, some people got during Pandaria SoO patch, we have the same appearence.
Kinda true because, you know flails. They can’t do just a version of the werebear and not use do recolours of all of it. Come on people, get your coffee and recolour those mogs.

Other people can get Invincible to this day. Does that make yours any less special? Didn’t think so.
I always found the “line in the sand” of what is “epic and exclusive” vs “meh whatever you out level it go for broke” is.
Can’t get PVP elite sets: but can farm mythic sets
Can’t get pvp season mounts: but can farm old mythic mounts
Can’t get MT recolors: but we can put the warebear back in (because you know, its special, not like the other are unique as well!)
Can’t get MT skins: But can still get class spec. Mounts.
Its just a stupid line in the sand that blizzard wants to draw and the only reason behind is “because we said so”
I hold out hope that they’ll come to their senses eventually. But, if they don’t…
No the reasons they do it are probably plenty, but probably mostly for marketing, keep people motivated to sub and all that stuff.
I do, and I don’t care if people obtain it, I have mage tower appearance, and could careless if others are able to obtain them again
I mean they removed the Vanilla PVP titles and brought them back with RBGs… so
The only people against it seems to think the guardian druid wearbear form (which I also have) was some how hard and required skill when it was the easiest one of them all to get

And my biggest issue right now is blizzard is “listening” or so they want to say but giving little to no feed back on what PLAYERS ARE SAYING.
here rename it: “A less then challenging appearance” make it a recolor of the skin and now all the cupcakes (how few of them there are) they worship there pixels will still have that achivement/tints and the rest of us have a shot.
Mind you: I do have a bunch of the MT skins as well but there are just classes I had no time to play at the time so they just never got a shot at it.
I do, I would not care if they added the AH mount back in to obtain outside of the black market AH. I also have the MT appearances I wanted and again wouldn’t care that a new monk got them.
They way people talk about how hard it was to earn how much they value the items that I’ve seen less and less since legion they don’t think those skins are silly. They are the pinnacle of their life achievements for some.

At the end of the day it is absolutely silly to watch an item to have to be googled to be seen by many of the players. Also no matter how you or anyone else fluffs up why you want or are okay with items staying gone all it means is you’re okay with less fun things in the game for everyone else. I want more for other players.
I wonder though if these skins were not able to be used by alts how many more people wouldn’t mind seeing items come back.

I have rare stuff both in game and in real life. I don’t own any of them because they’re rare or limited edition. I own them because they have value to me. However, that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t want someone else to not have them. Them having something similar (or the same) does not diminish any of my rare/limited edition items.
So…
It wouldn’t effect me at all. Go right on ahead.
And by the way, including in the “rare or limited edition” type stuff, yes I have several MT skins, and I still say open her up. Someone else getting it in NO WAY effects your gaming experience outside of hurting your ego. And frankly, if your ego is so fragile that it gets butt hurt over someone in a video game getting a pixelated item that happens to look like your pixelated item, seek help. Seek serious help.

Maybe take it down a notch with all the pejoratives - calling people cupcakes and acting like they are the bane of wow, doesn’t do you any favours if you’re looking to actually get traction and listened to.
I don’t care about what other players or people have or don’t have. I do care however, about myself and other players being able to customize/xmog their characters in ways that they enjoy.
It’s my understanding the mage tower was open for a year. I think you bring up really, the very important human element to factor into this.
What do you say to someone who was in the military during this time? “Thanks for your service, now buzz off about transmog.”
What do you say to someone who at the point in their life couldn’t afford to play WoW due to circumstances out of their control? “Glad you got your feet under you, yeah haha people totally spent real money on buying these, crazy huh?”
What do you say about someone who had a medical condition that prevented them from playing during that time? “Glad you’re doing well again, ummm yeah no, no transmog for you.”
What do you say to someone who was taking care of their sick relative? “Man yeah, that’s awful, sorry they didn’t make it. Guess you didn’t make it for this xmog either.”
What do you say to these people? “Yeah these xmogs are so cool, glad I got to get them on every alt! Sorry, tough luck for you though, haha I guess this kind of just piles on to that huh?”
Limited time events are just bad design unless they’re repeatable like the big holiday events.

Im not looking to get listened to at all: Calling it how I see it and until a person with the MT skin makes a LEGIT logical reason other then 'blizzard said so" to why others who MISSED THE CHANCE, DIDNT PLAY TO AFTER LEGION, OR HAD LIVES THAT AFFECTED the time they played the game. They are cupcakes, and they get super enraged and offended when others want to partake in what they missed.
How does someone wanting to attempt to get something they missed affect anyone in this game in any shape or form? There is no reason for limited time events or items: And this is coming from someone who HAS the heroic archimonde moose mount, who HAS the void drake thing from heroic N’ylotha and someone who HAS VARIOUS MT skins: Let the players play and LET THE PLAYERS have chances to always obtain items.
