Anyone thinking Microsoft buying Blizzard are in for a disappointment

Java edition is still there, it’s not like they got rid of it.

And atleast they made a decent effort to improve minecraft by making it in C++ (Win10 edition)

The mtx in minecraft don’t even really matter when you can make your own skins/texture packs anyway

The game is already deep in a mud

So it doesn’t matter if they completely drive it in the ground

I agree, John Hight needs to go.

Bye bye Bobby, Hello Bill!

I’d pay 14.99 for unfettered access to a tournament realm - that would be a discount considering seasons last several months

Bobby is staying on reportedly

His contract is till march 2023. I’m sure microsoft doesnt want to pay out his severance , if that contract was broken.

Kinda like how we have to pay micro-transactions in the game now to keep playing, and for new expansions, and for mounts/pets/cosmetics whatever, and for tokens, etc…

I don’t know what glorious game you’ve been playing for the past while, but WoW has already BEEN a micro-transaction store.

Except for the stockholders. Stock’s up 20% at this news.

WoW already sells the content as DLC, they just don’t have the courage to display it. Wanna progress your PvP set? Be prepared to face endless unwinnable MMR manipulated matches. PvP carrying only works because Blizzard wants it to. You take a 2400 rated carrier and an unrated carry buyer, they queue up against 2 1400 rated players. An unrated honor set + a 2400 rated set overall adds up to substantially more main stats than 2 1400 rated sets. This is why carrying works so well. If it is not intentional, it is absolute incompetence, so neither thing is a great explanation. The reality is Blizzard has built direct player power monetization into the game and implemented it in the most cynical and manipulative way possible. We’re already there, it aint gettin worse.

This is how I feel. Plus I think players will come back after such a big change. I don’t think activision blizzard had a very good reputation after last year

Weird, I don’t buy anything, and I’m still playing.

Next round of character visual changes
