Just wondering if anyone notices a really big increase in the number of people using bots. Ever since DF released I keep running into people that have nonsense names running around with 5 or 6 others on follow with nonsense names. I didn’t think it was a big deal at first but then I started keeping screenshots of them all and when I went to look today I have over 70 sets of screenshots of people walking around with 5 or 6 on follow.
Just curious if this is happening anywhere else… My realm is low pop so maybe they find that appealing but it gets really annoying when they leave them on top of quest givers on their mounts or other objects in the game.

I’ve seen a lot of complaints about botting lately, though I’ve yet to come across them myself.
It was a HUGE issue in Shadowlands.

This. I’ve been back since pre-patch. Don’t think I’ve seen a single bot.

I actually have yet to really see any bots in the new content areas. Mostly due to how WoW made the nodes unroutable and require some slight thinking to get to.
I know they’re bad in old places. There’s usually 6 or 7 boomkins "Sakharone - Sakharnine"farming the Murlocs in Azuna. And others in old places. But not much you can really do besides report em.

I came back at the end of Shadowlands. Had to take a 2 year break after suffering a stroke. I ve seen them before but never this many… They are all over the place. I am actually standing next to a druid bot right now in the game. The other 4 took off and the 5th one is left here running in place. This is in Camp Antonidas in Azure Span so its a DF area.

Nope, but maybe that’s because I have WM on all the time
While there have been a couple of really sketchy tauren druids with consonant-heavy gibberish names out there, I’ve not come across any obvious botters in my journeys so far.

I’ve come across a few druid bots running routes in Azure Span. Probably others, but those are the only ones I’m confident were actual bots.

I saw more Druid bots in SL than I’ve seen in DF. To be fair, though, I’m dragon riding to my destinations and spending a max of 5 minutes in a spot for whatever I’m there for and then off to the next. I spend most of my open world time in the citadel and the rest in M+.
I did encounter one set once in a WQ area but my Druid was well suited for tagging everything so it didn’t phase me much.

Can’t say I have seen any bots since the trolls on GD kept swearing up and down how their precious dragon gliding killed them all.
Multiboxers, yes. Bots, no.
You wouldn’t know a bot if it smacked you.
In wrath classic the 70-79 bgs are literally 95% bots depending on time of day. Its not unusual to have less than 5 real players in a EOTS. On my hunter I literally used feign death to drop aggro from them.

Is this why so few people talk to me lol…their bots?
They are real bad in Oharan plains or however it’s spelled at 2 am.

In the Centaur zone…holy sh…there are trains of them on dragons just pathing to the same exact spot then flying away, like endlessly. Like a never ending stream of them pouring in or circling around.
Yeah, they are all bots now!
