I’ve only started seeing them in the past couple of weeks, primarily on Centaur land.

A couple of them were stuck in trees, randomly going back and forth for a pretty long time, so yes, I am sure these are bots.

No, not multiboxers, they are not following each other in groups of 3-5, they are just pouring in, one after another, on the exact same path/script
to the pixel.

I’m really vocal in-game and like to interact with others but I believe most of the silent people Ive ran into are just loners or too busy to talk to me

I have never seen any at all. Not saying your experience isn’t valid – I’m sure you’re seeing what you’re seeing – but I haven’t seen any at all on Thrall.

Nah, I don’t even bother anymore. Many times in the past I have reported an obvious bot, added them to friends and watched. Months later they will still botting in the same spot as always. Blizzard does nothing about it. It’s not even worth taking the time to report them.

The people here are delusional (or trolling). The bots are terrible in both versions of the game. Always has been. Over the past few months Blizzard has 100% dropped the ball with classic.

In retail. There’s many caves where you will find multiple bots spamming some aoe ability over and over. Those are pretty basic. Farming motes.

I am a member of a forum that has links and information to most of these bot/hack programs (I just use the website for free wow leveling guides lol) One of the more popular hacks for DF allow you to go the same speed as dragonflying underground so you can gather nodes. Sometimes in certain places it allows you to attack other players without being seen. This is a bad idea though because they can still target you and see that your nameplate is underground.

As of today it’s been downloaded 20,587 times just from the independent link on the forum. I’m sure many more have used it.

So, it is what is. Blizzard will not IP ban so they just come right back on new accounts they either create or hack into. It’s never going to change.

I haven’t seen any bots in a pretty long time, even though they’re probably still there because literally every MMO has a bot problem.

But if you think botting is bad right now, you haven’t seen it at the height of Classic or in Shadowlands. It was BAD BAD BAD back then.

Please ignore this poster. Glinda is a well known troll on the classic forums. They were ran off and now plaguing the GD sub.

They’ve also complained about botting themselves and have made threads about the topic in classic.

You’ll go to Hell for lying just as fast as you will for stealing. I have never made a thread about botting, and I do not recall ever complaining about botting.

Also, OP asked what we’ve noticed in relation to bots, I stated the truth.

I didn’t say a word about what you noticed, friend.
