Ok, now it DC’d me at the Darkmoon Faire, and also says ‘character already exists’ when I try to log back in.
Oof, it’s really bad right now. Couldn’t log into the character I wanted to play. When I was finally able to, the moment I left Valdrakken dragon riding stopped working and there are no NPCs anywhere.
I have had log in screen stuck at 80%, random lag spikes kicking me off the game etc. So ya I have had some gameplay issues. I hope Blizz fixes this.
Just started happening like 4 hours ago, can’t log into certain characters because they already exist, kicking me out of the dungeon que even tho we only had 4 in the group, something def going on.
Yes, definetely. Can’t log on my chars most of the time. Once I could, but got frozen when I started a dragon race. Bummer.
Yea load times an lag are real. It definitely aint my net everything else works fine.

Though I constantly have to check my internet connection because its going down here and there as well.
I assume if my internet is fine and everything but the game is running, that its the game…possibly.
I cant even login… just gets stuck at 100% load and never loads
Oh yes. I take flight path… and it takes my character 2+ minutes to actually land once they arrive. Other times I get disconnected and can’t log back in because “a character with that name already exists” for several minutes. I’ve had a few odd instances of rubber banding and being unable to loot for extended periods as well.
They are having some very odd server issues in the last week.
What disruptions,I don’t see them because I can’t get in to even see them
My HM Rogue kept getting stuck in load screens when I used hearthstone to get too Org while doing the summer fires all over the map…kept getting stuck and I had too alt F4 out of the game then had to load up another character before trying for HM rogue one as it was being said on my screen “there is a character” all ready in game when it wasn’t.
They must being cloning us,or we’re all dead in shadowlands because i don’t have a zone either.

All weekend its been DC after DC …issue with not be able to hearth without having to shut down the game down and reload it back in again …I use a SSD so its not that now…
Countless post about the issues of characters being locked on the loading screen, and the only reply I’ve seen on the topic, was a Blue response that said to “Try using a different connection, mobile hotspot, etc.” Somehow I don’t think that this many random people, from across the country, are all using the same internet provider/mobile hot spot.
My understanding now, is that after coming back from FFXIV, Blizzard only cares about the money, and not the service they provide. Seeing how the Dev team at FFXIV actually gets back to players with mass reporting of the same issue, and actually takes the time to update players frequently when there is a mass reported issue, I have a much better understanding now of how a team can be more customer service friendly, than one that takes your money and runs away with it. I’ve been given back game time on numerous occasions from FF, when it is server sided issue. In the case that we are having here, Blizzard hasn’t given me time added on my account, as of yet, for the service disruptions all week long. There isn’t even hardly a mention from a Blue, about the issues going on, once again in the past 12 hours.
I am just using another company as an example of customer service, when the problems are with the company and not with the user base. This is not an issue of “Addons” or “IP providers”. This is not a user side issue. This is an issue with Blizzard, and their repeated failure to compensate for the down times, with the server disruptions at such a high, in the last week. Will things change? No. Will they do much acknowledgement for the issues at hand? No. We will probably get another “We are working to investigate the issues with the authentication servers this morning”, even though this has been going on for almost a day for a lot of people. The slow response time, and the unprofessional handling of the situation, is making me regret the extended subscription that I’ve paid for, and the fact that I came back to an expansion that seemed epic on the outside, but has been nothing but a very unplayable mess in the last week or so.
Think about it this way. Most people complain, nicely or not, when something with a fast food order is wrong. If an item is missing, or a special request was made and paid for, people complain. You paid for it, and you want it right. Well you are paying more monthly for WoW, than you are for a piece of cheese on a cheeseburger that was missing. If you get mad at something around $1-$2, then you should be rather upset for not being able to play much for 7-15 times as much. The service you are getting is rather disappointing at this point.

LOL I don’t have a wifi connection…I am hardwired into my modem and I am the only person on it, so no need for a router either…just used my tabard too port over too Tol Barad to use portal to get too SW and again stuck in load screen and I use SSD drives…I use Comcast for my internet…

last night I was stuck in loading screen limbo after hearthing to Valdrakken from Underrot. Same thing happened to my friend who hearthed there from the same dungeon. Otherwise it’s been pretty okay.
