Anyone expecting more allied races beside the Earthern?

I love how Horde go “We’re the ones that helped them, not Alliance”

They clearly never played Alliance, cause Alliance help them too. We just don’t have access to the final questline helping them because it’s Uldir story, and the devs responsible for BFA made it very clear they didn’t even want Alliance to even have access to Uldir.

How about when we go: “We’re the ones that get access to their entire story so they obviously should be Horde.”

Alliance had access to the entire nightborne and high mountain story.

That’s nice.

No, you didn’t actually since we got extra story for being a Horde race.

They both helped, there’s no denying that. The Horde just helped more by dismantling the Faithless and restoring Sethraliss. The Alliance’s aid mainly consisted of treating Vorrik of poisoning

which is itself almost identical to two Horde quests where you do the same for Serrik

and helping the Devoted fend off the Faithless attacking their sanctuary, which the Horde PC also does, so having the Devoted join the faction that comparatively did less for them and got copypasted quests would’ve been a narrative disservice. Alliance characters can do the Temple of Sethraliss, as well, but I’m pretty sure Zandalar dungeons are only canon for Horde and Kul Tiras dungeons are only canon for Alliance.

I wouldnt take the alliance efforts related to sethrak seriously.

The only reason that quests gets a lot of emphasis is because alliance wanted them so badly back in the day and there is nothing else sethrak they can cling to.

But that quest was just a demo quest to get you to play horde to see the rest of it. Horde has the same kind of quests fighting the witches.

Its just to coax you to play the other side.

The Nerubians will be TWW’s “actually cool and not lame race that everyone wants to be playable” that every expansion seems to have, and everybody wants them but they never become playable, and instead we’ll get those dumb Harronir which are just Night Elf skeletons so they require zero work to implement for Blizzard.

Lack of lore justification for a race to be playable is no longer valid. People just want to be able to play as them, it’s as simple as that.

Its always been valid and its always been followed.

And if sethrak did become playable they would join the horde that liberated their people and saved their god.

The nerubians being playable was deconfirmed in an interview back in April with the excuse that they have too many limbs to animate, the only logical response to which is “My brother/sister in the Light, you designed the race”.

Oh for crying out loud lmao

Taunka came during original WoTLK and were going to be added in but the new dev team came in during Cata and ruined everything.

I dont think that should be taken as gospel, if you listen closely to his words its nothing that couldnt be fixed for a future race and it isnt the first time devs said something attempting to throw people off.

They outright lied in regards to speculation about vulpera.

Why shrink an awesome spider race and make them humanoid and lame while losing the best features of said spider race?

They are already shaping up to be the worst and most creatively bankrupt race to be added to the game, they should just be called beetle elves.

Man they look so much like they came from the movie Ants. Lol

Is there truth to this?

I dont care about them personally but its interesting.

Dungeons aren’t a prerequisite for AR. Vulpera don’t have a dungeon.

Could be a questline and or zone not inplemented yet.

But like the Orc said, dungeon etc is not a prerequisite.
