Anyone else unsubscribing if H v H BGs not reintroduced?

I have level 70s on both factions (two accounts) but I do not intend to keep my subscriptions active on either unless I can actively PvP on my horde character. Not intending this to seem petulant, just my plans and wondering if many others are thinking the same?

You can PvP in many different capacities outside of queuing for a BG. Arena, Skirmish, Open World Zone Objectives.

I’m sure many Horde ppls will quit if ques stay 30min to nearly 2 hours. But if H v H is brought back Alliance will quit. It’s a poop show either way.

In BGs obviously… don’t play semantics with me. As I said I also play alliance, I just do not see the appeal where one of my characters is unplayable in the content I want to play.

Yeah pretty much.

It’s not though. When you people use “Literally” and “Unplayable,” often together, it hurts your case.

You can play the game, it just takes longer.

I also don’t think it’s ideal. The numbers on both factions need to get shifted closer together. I think the same-faction queues should be re-implemented, and Alliance should be given Every Man For Himself (to all races) or Dual Spec.

I didn’t say ‘literally’ for that very reason…

Also you quoted me out of context, the VERY NEXT WORDS were ‘in the content I want to play’. Anyway, I accept there are a number of solutions, I wouldn’t be against free H > A faction changes (or even paid) as a potential solution if some of the horde I play with wanted to swap.

If I played for just the PvP, I would have probably stopped playing. It’s insane the wait times to play a BG.

Sadly I could not enjoy the instant que on the holiday weekend, but I do hope it’s brought back with some enhancements that can appease both sides.

Why would alliance quit? Because horde can finally pvp without 60-90 minute BG queues?

Nah, I’ll just be prioritizing BGs less.

Anyone that needs to announce to the forums that they’re unsubscribing, probably isn’t.

I’m unsubscribing if they go thru with this change.

Different strokes, eh?

But at least mine is out of impacts on my own gameplay and not spite.

Though spite is a reason just like any other I suppose…

Yea just finished a convo with my mates. im goneskies if its not hvh within a week

It’s causing my friends to quit which will likely cause me to quit for the time being. Yes you can PvP in other ways, but BGs are basically a must for all your off pieces. If you PvP, you’re going to want them so…

Although I also consider the core gameplay the main problem with retail, not the “store”. So what do I know!

Consider not bandwagon mass zugging one faction like what happened in retail to avoid the same issues? Freaking crazy I know.

Agreed, while I do not think the store is great, it’s the ‘borrowed power’ and ‘infinite grind’ systems that I truly dislike.

I wanted to play a shaman in classic vanilla this druid was my alt, what should I have done? Perhaps I should have rerolled alliance? I did that and have level 70s of both… any other suggestions or should my horde character just be subjected to 1.5 hr queues because I was stupid enough to want to play a shaman in vanilla?

Alot of assumption there.

Some of us came back for the “classic” play. All these changes… All of them, are false advertising. I didn’t come back for retail 2.0. I came back to play a lost era. All of it, good and bad.

Not really much assumption. The immediate impact of H v H bgs on alliance were tested. Queue times remained the same and the open world experience got better because less horde gank squads (I experienced this myself as did others I know on alliance). Therefore what motivation is left but spite?
