Also there are like 40 thousand ret pally logs. Thats the same as both enhance AND frost combined as of last week. Its not a controversial take to say that the balancing this tier is hella bad.

I didn’t cherry pick anything. Frost mage wouldn’t be completing the highest keys in the world if it sucked. It’s perfectly viable data to show S+ tier.
This has nothing to do with performance balance. It has to do ease of use balance.
Mage is one of the harder classes to play well - it’s easy to see the difference between good and bad mages, which is why you see less mage players and guilds ALWAYS recruiting any decent one with a pulse.
Ret is far easier to play at a high level. The community tends to gravitate to the easier meta specs to play, for obvious reasons.
Are you trying to say the numbers aren’t there for fire mages? 
what this guy said, mage is the hardest class in the game to play across all three specs. it doesnt appeal to newer players or low skill players. try something easier if you cant master mage right away.
