Anyone else still in awe at how ugly Dracthyr are?

Basically Drakonid

But Dracthyr could achieve similar effect IF they are given options for bigger bodies and heads

Designed by furries/scalies then neutered by HR maybe. If they were really designed by furries they’d be rounder in all the right places.

As opposed to morbidly obese Kul’Tiran?

It was kinda funny seeing people (myself included) doubting the leaks because they were just too ugly and unlike anything in WoW up to that point, stylistically.

Since then I have played Aug and Dev spec and they are actually pretty fun, but I have never gotten used to how awful they look. Worst race in pretty much any game I can think of.

I love my pink and teal dragon very much. He isn’t ugly at all, IMO.

The only thing which irritates me is how tmog works with them. Like really… if you don’t want to make all the old armors work for the dracthyr skeleton, just let the two forms, dragon and visage, tmog completely separately.

For love of anything holy, tmogging my dracthyr is a complete headache. :dracthyr_shrug:

EDIT: And I really want a visual emote, or even better would be a “bored animation”/standing still animation, for stretching out my wings.

I love the gameplay of Evoker but I’d way rather be a Drakonid. I hope one day there will be a tank spec that has some buttons you can hold down on.

True, but I prefer originality. Females that look like females. No surgery or anything of the likes done for a female to look like a male.

I’m going to stop here because I’m opening a huge can of worms.

Argonians did it better.

And I guess Trandoshans from Star Wars, as well.

Damn it. You’re making me want to go back to Skyrim.

Have you ever been to the Cloud District before?

LOOK AT WHAT YOU DID

Originality of what? Not everything has to follow human rules

The god damn Sethrak had their aesthetics aced.

So dunno what happened for the dragons…

It’s been 1 year and still no permanent visage form

Who said they were human rules?

Biology played a part A LONG, LOOOOONG TIME AGO where females were depicted to have breasts to feed their young. This science is not bound to gender identity.

I get this is fantasy and science doesn’t hold much water to this, but I’m making this argument for the sake of originality.

Easier to slap outfits and reuse animations on things that have humanoid physique.

Do you have any idea how often nature does not give a good god dang about that?

You got fish realizing “Hey theres no dudes here. I SHALL BECOME THE DUDE” among loads of other things.

Chickens do that too

Nature doesn’t care at all, but calling it a human rule seems like a fallacy.

Pardon. I’ll elaborate. When I say human rules. I say like “the dudes gotta look all stocky and buff while the girl has a very obvious female shape”

Pretty much how Disney designs their characters lol

( its like 4 am. Sorry if I sound aggressive. Its the sleepy )

In a case like this, I can’t help but think of “what the author says, goes.”

Then I would be confused to why he/she chose this. Maybe the guy likes buff dudes.

Still. I could sound like the author — I want the Dracthyr to have breasts. But not because of some petty “I WANT LEWDS” excuse.

I dunno man. I just like seeing fictional races off doing their own rules when it comes to gender expression.

“Dat girl so give them a girl chest” just gets boring after so many years lol. Again apologies if I came off as like uber aggressive. I’m really just tired and rambling
