Anyone else still in awe at how ugly Dracthyr are?

I still cant bring myself to play an Evoker simply because they are so damn ugly

They were definitely designed by furries/scalies

Yea they’re pretty out of place. When I was watching the dragonflight announcement I was pretty hype until I saw their models LMAO. That’s when I knew we weren’t about to get legion 2 after shadowlands :sob:

They’re very attractive in my opinion. Playing an ugly character isn’t so bad anyway; my main was a female dwarf in Cataclysm because I thought it was funny, and I thought about making a Kul Tiran for the same reason, but now I’m mostly only interested in playing hot characters like this one

My fvaorite dracthyr look is the no horn and literally nothing on the face.

There were some very cool models, pictures that players came up with on how Dracthyr should look . Too bad Blizzard is what Blizzard does- ignore feedback

I forget how bad it is due to desensitization, but then I see them standing next to Drakonids, and I immediately remember just how gross they look comparatively.

I would rather have a Drakonid…

Yeah. I cant believe they didn’t completely shelve what they made, because someone made some 2-d pictures.

Funny enough… the only reason I was excited to play one was their ability to fly around since they have wings.

Welp.

Some people like them though…so…that’s good. hah.

I have three, one of each spec. Do I love the look? It’s okay.

Better than their ‘visage’ form, which I only switch to in order to view some gear piece or other and switch back. I really dislike the visage look.

I get where Blizzard going with their design but where they ‘fit in’ with the game is – lacking, but so is much of the story for a while.

I really wish they added the drakonids in as an option to play as well. It would have given the module a good draconic theme.

I created one. I played it up until it got to the main city, after that, not touched it. Pretty sure it’s going to get deleted.

While I can appreciate anyone that does/tries something different (especially something that is monetized), they’re a terrible design.

You can make something different that is also widely appealing. You don’t have to make something terrible just to be different.

I mean, we have TONS of cool models in the game based on the loose term “dragons.” They didn’t have to pick one that was so derpy.

This, for me. The look doesn’t bother me (though if they’re going to limit transmog so much I wish I could have them be in visage form on my character select screen) but Soar being pointless is the dealbreaker that has thus far kept me from playing the race/class.

Don’t like the dragon form. And they decided not only to make the female visage a human, but also make it impossible to entirely remove scales from their face.

Hard pass.

So much this with regards to the visage form. On a small screen (like my laptop) it looks like they have some skin ailment.

I don’t care that they get extra healing for a group in visage, I am not using it.

I periodically forget they exist. I don’t play them, the story has very little to do with them. I don’t chase content where an augvoker would be present.

I’m sure people out there like them. :man_shrugging: It feels like the story in thier own expansion has moved past them.

They’re better looking that dwarves. :stuck_out_tongue:

Agreed. I use the non-dracthyr form skill, but when I get into combat, surprise! ugly as hell.

I always thought this was weird. When I first heard about them I assumed you’d be able to pretty much play as any race then you would turn into a dragon. That makes sense to me. But instead we got…uhm…I don’t know what they were thinking with the “human” forms. They look creepy to me, lol.

I have seen one male model that was cool but all the others look out of place in WoW…just my opinion though.
