if they had used that other, bulkier dragonish race Id have played one in a second.
The dracthyr are just goofy looking to me. Not interested. Same with Kul Tiran. Id love to play a female druid, but Im a mog collector and frankly they look pitiful in just about everything.

The visage is worse than the real form.

I play as a dragon to play as a dragon. Not a dragonfruit-flavoured elf.

 they have so many customizations which is nice! But they don’t look great. Their run is really really 
 janky? Maybe that’s the word lol.

Don’t mind them personally, although wish they were bigger, beefier and could be other classes. Now the visage forms
hideous, never switch into that form, ever.

Kultirans COULD be great. Omg I would play one but their faces are all same face, just 10 years down the line and one got in a fight with a fishing line.

(Plus they aren’t paladins yet)

I’d love to play augmentation or preservation, but I can’t get past how awful Dracthyr look. Even the visage forms look bad. If blizz had made Dracthyr look like dragons instead of derpy iguanas they’d be way more popular.

Their proportions are just off for me. To tall for my taste, neck is to thin, legs “bulk up” with options but chest arms still look scrawny. I get it fits their class caster fantasy, but some people just want a buff dragon that look like it could tear your head off.

Agree. I started making one at launch and backed out of it. It felt so cringe that there were no other choices but to make it super feminine. I just can’t lol.

Agreed. Took the Dragon awesomeness and turned it into a Rainbow trout.

I like them somewhat just wish that the visage stuff went to male Blood Elves and female Humans instead of well existing since they didn’t do actual visages to represent all races across the board for them.

You guys remember how for years people wanted Dragonkin who could transform into any of our beloved races and both genders, not relegated to the most effeminate male and token blocky female forms? Remember wishing to play as a Dragonkin Warrior or Warlock?

Instead we got whatever dracthur is, and hemorrhaging subs so bad blizz started counting HEARTHSTONE accounts as MAUs to pull wool over investors’ eyes. Can’t make this stuff up.

EDIT:
And we all realize how easy it would have been to fulfil our feedback- wouldn’t even need to lightning round subcontract and pay furries to “design” all that face/head makeup and jewelry in a game they never played.
