Why does it have to be appealing to the types of people whose preferences were already catered to with all of the other races that were already in the game?! People are mostly just mad that they aren’t jacked

I don’t actually mind how they look, besides any race looks better than goblins, even the forsaken. Put a dracthyr next to a goblin and it the dracthyr would win top model.
I am however just so disappointed with their transmog

I like them honestly. I was on the fence awhile, but the aesthetic grew on me over time. I do agree that they should of given Drakinoids as an allied race also. They’d have the best of both worlds for people looking for burly dragon dudes too then.

I think they look the worst from the straight on view in the character select menu, but from other angles look okay.
The main problem for me is their run animation. Its so bad, I don’t understand what they even thinking or how it ever got approved.

I disagree. Most of the complaints I see are simply, obvious things like their gait is awkward. All of the basic complaints I see have nothing to do with them looking like beefcake dragons.
They just look AWKWARD.
edit: I mean, there’s your proof – just look at the two posts RIGHT BEFORE mine.

Evoker should have been available to everyone, with new customizations to go along with it like dragon eyes/scales. It never should have been tied to a single race, and no new race should ever be limited to one class.

The more I have considered it? I kinda think they should look awkward. They are bio-weapons that came out of a test tube. They should not look quite natural.

They are pretty ugly 
I don’t dislike the model so much as the lack of transmog options. You can make some pretty neat looking dracthyr when you go into all the customizations but one of wows big appeals to me was always the overly stylized armor and they cant really partake in that.
At the very least completing their tier sets should have unlocked them as a barber shop options. They might be stuck with the same outfits for the next 5 years with how slow blizz is on customization updates.

There are plenty of races that have awkward walking animations and they’re still popular and widely considered to be hot like male zandalari trolls, which when I last checked were probably the most popular (or 2nd or 3rd most popular) allied race. (I think void elves and vulpera might be ahead of them idk)
I mean, that’s a valid observation.
Similarly, “super models” look like 0.0000000001% of other human body shapes. In a manner of speaking “they are the freaks.”
But all things considered, I’d rather look like a super model, than the dracthyr shape. 
Keep using toys on them so they look like something else? There are a few toys out there that last 45 minutes up to an hour.

Dracthyr have an androgynous, female slant because it was designed with females in mind.
They don’t have strong shoulders or a V shape, and they don’t have good jawlines and less slender face options.
At best you look like a butch woman.

I thought we were getting the Dragonkin… instead of got fairy twinks with scales. It’s beyond disappointing, but we all know why it was done, and that’s sadly the world we live in now.

I like preservation spec, use visage exclusively, and cringe every time an ability makes me show dracthyr form.
