Anyone else sick of "Tyrande is Evil!" threads/comments?

She is more lawful good imo

Tyrande is a dreadlord.

Tyrande is evil? Huh I’ve never thought like this.
I’m a big fan of Anduin but still think Tyrande is just doing what she has to do as the leader of Nelfs.
Of course Anduin is doing what he has to do as the leader of the Alliance. It seems… yeah bit too much idealistic, but that’s my king haha
I expect some changes in Tyrande’s personality, but I will be veeeeeery sad if Tyrande become a villain in SL
It’s even not understandable.
Well Sylvanas should be the first. Let’s kill her first. Bahahaha

No, but I’m sick of people saying Sylvanas is evil

My main is Alliance. Has been for 13 years. I am all for killing off Tyrande and will offer no excuses for her.

From a personal point of view, her arrogance, recklessness and selfishness deserve ostracism and even punishment. Her self-important bigotry cost the Alliance an important ally in the Nightborne while she herself has acted uncooperatively and harmfully; it was clearly more important to her to run off for the sake of her “beloved” than it was to protect the Temple of Elune from Xavius’s forces. Because of that, Ysera was corrupted and had to be killed.

Her Night Warrior plot really takes the cake, though. She split the Alliance’s forces to pursue a hasty plan to turn herself into the Night Warrior for the sake of immediate revenge; we learn as we pursue her that Night Warrior ritual could kill her. It doesn’t, but it still means Tyrande risked her forces - and the Alliance - on chance.

It never occurs to Tyrande that committing all of the Alliance’s forces to one goal - defeating the Horde - rather than splitting them up to reclaim Darkshore, could actually win the war faster and give her the revenge she wanted anyway.

Tyrande’s MO pretty much boils to the little kid mentality: “I want what’s good for me, right now!” She isn’t a team player, she’s unwise and she uses her leadership position to gamble that which does not belong to her (e.g. Ysera, the Alliance, stratagems) for the sake of really short-sighted, selfish goals. Sooner or later, being as stubborn as she is, she will go too far and cross a moral event horizon. Then she will have to die.

I can’t hit ‘like’ to your post, but I do like your point of view!

Fixed it for you.

So, she never learned “a little patience” from Varian? Did I sum that up right?

I completely agree with you, OP.

But there’s this desperation among much of the player base for the Alliance to do something controversial for once, and so Blizzard is playing into that. If you’re one of the desperate, you probably think this is the most amazing story turn the Alliance has ever had. If not, then you easily see through Blizzard’s pathetic, “See! See! Tyrande is evil! You said we couldn’t do it, but we did!”

I’m H4L but I don’t think there’s anything Tyrande is capable of doing that I wouldn’t consider justifiable at this point. That’s how far Blizzard’s terrible writers went toward trashing the Horde. Only through the guiding hand of Anduin are we led back from the darkness. :face_vomiting:

Anytime an Alliance character doesn’t want to forgive horde atrocities they’re “evil”. We saw it with Jaina and Varian among others.

BAHAHAHAHA
Yeah… Blizz really should do sth about this.
I want Anduin to be a good leader of the Alliance, not some sort of… I dunno I can’t find the word.
They’d better let players know about his thoughts via game. It’s still immature and idealistic, but far better than Anduin just saying good and right things blah blah blah and sitting on the throne. Or punching in his- adviser’s face.
But he’s young. I can wait. hehe

when we come back from shadowlands I hope we do get a timeskip and anduin has hardened up a bit from having led his people throughout the years we were gone without us to protect them and azeroth.

I think that she is justified in her desire for revenge against Sylvi but is very close to crossing a line when she wants revenge on the entire Horde. There are alot of little things happening in Org right now where characters that supported Sylvi are being treated like crap and a Leader character will come by and stop it and make everyone try and move on and forgive those tricked by her. At the moment the Horde is trying to rebuild and we lost on a lot of fronts in the war.

I would love to see Tyrande to help us in the raid to kill Sylvanas and then try to help build peace with the current leadership of the Horde but I can already see Garrosh 3.0 being built up right now.
