Sure, against the forces of azshara, a common enemy. Not exactly the same thing as murdering someone that was instrumental in the blood elves survival.
Man i needed a good laugh. Really need to get out more. What she done was wage a war you guys won. It was handed to you by the game director on a silver platter. If you want to be mad. Be mad at that fact.
Tyrande is a mirror to Sylvanas at this point.
Why would the Tauren help the Night Elves their closest neighbors( before the Orcs and Darkspears came over from Eastern Kingdoms ) who themselves didn’t help the Tauren when they were being decimated by the Centaurs. Also why would the Nightborne help Tyrande after the disdain she showed towards them.
If you use the well they did seal themselves off from the rest of the world bit. There is a quest in Nazjatar where upon completion (horde side) Shandris shows up to where the player and Thalyssra are and comments about the Nightborne sealing themselves off and Thalyssra responding that it was done to keep the Pillar they had there out of Azshara’s hand and Shandris replying with I know.
Because they formed a bond after all that with Druidism and Malfurion teaching and leading the Cenarion Circle. Not saying they need to, though. I feel Night Elves should be capable of all this alongside Worgen if Blizzard allows them to use everything they have, from Cenarius to Chimeras, Wardens and Highborne.
As for Thalyssra and Shandris I am behind the questing Horde side because I did not like what Blizzard was doing to the Horde story wise. But I will get there as I want a Zandalari.
8.2.5 was outside Orgrimmar.
No.
Horde’s been dealing with this crap since MoP. You can deal with it for a little bit.
it isn’t as bad as “Horde Biased!!!1!1!1!!!” threads
also next patch she tells the alliance to bugger off wile she go a killing…
The Alliance needs to have some active, aggressive protagonists. It makes for a better story when both sides have dynamic goals and some ruthlessness in how they achieve them.
It was handed to you by the game director on a silver platter.
Of course it was ‘handed’ to us. This was a story with a pre-determined ending from the start. An actual war would be something like Dark Ages of Camelot, where each server has it’s own internal war, where Alliance and Horde can actually fight, gain actual ground and control actual territory.
This was not some war of actual Player Agency. This was a scripted ‘season’ of a show.
Yeah, agreed. But have her going “Oh, she became a villain. Why? Because she hated the ones who burnt her home and killed many civilians.” is weird.
I’d even accept that she gets evil because she hates Sylvanas. But the “This person is evil because he hates the Horde” is bad and terribly repetitive. The Alliance need conflict, but not Horde style. Both factions are supposed to be different in more ways than just races.
If we get to kill both Tyrande and Sylvanas in the next expansion, that would be best one i’ve played.
Its just sloppy ham fisted writing. They wanted evil night elves since cata they even wrote the wardens as evil in one of the books before they retconned it.
They have been trying to shove it in for years now.
Not “evil” Night Elves. Militant Night Elves, harkening back more to their more territorial, aloof, “we are the ancient keepers of the world as ordained by wild gods and dragons” behavior.

Nah evil night elves. Read the novel where garrosh attacks the night elves. They want them to be the next baddies.
Your entire point requires you to conveniently forget Tyrande yeeted out harder than Sylvanas to literally let her people burn so she could hide with her husband to make sure he was ok.
Tyrande has NO claim to vengeance. She literally ABANDONED her people to their fate at the mercy of the Horde so she could protect JUST her husband.
What?
You don’t like your leaders being written as evil?
I have mixed feelings on Tyrande. Like that one mission in WC3 where she seems to think it’s okay to murder all the Watchers just so she can free Illidan because she thinks he might be useful fighting the legion and was told by Malfurion not too. She probably didn’t even visit him in 10000 year then expects him to help her. That takes arrogance to whole new level.
That said she’s totally in the right in this case in my opinion. Anudin is a hypocritical doofus that has no idea what he’s doing.
Night elves are still just mutant Trolls.
