I might check out 9.1 in 2-3 months when I can do all the timegated content in a week or 2. But yea, not hyped and not playing it on release.
I like the current game, but I don’t understand where the hype for 9.1 is really.
Is there anyone who IS hyped for it?
Not hyped, picked up dragon ages origins to keep me entertained until 9.1 drops but why would I be excited? New zone and flying? That’s about it.
I’m sure some people are hyped, good for them.
This patch is looking dull and boring, the edge and appeal is lost. I’ve chosen to walk away.
Maybe 10.0 could be interesting, in the meanwhile I’ll try out New World when that releases.
Fly? Fly where? All the zones are still sectioned off from each other that flying is only a minor convenience when you still have to traverse through Oribos to get to anywhere else. The bird cage just got bigger is all, you’re still stuck in the same place with nowhere to go.
I’m not, not even a tiny little bit.
I am mostly relieved that we will get flight but I’m not even hyped for that, just relieved that we are finally making the overworld less annoying in SL zones.
That’s literally all I care for with 9.1
This is part of the problem, you just generalized all feedback as useless, your statement asserts that if you don’t like the something, don’t give feedback just quit. That’s super toxic and unhealthy for the game, and the playerbase. It’s also probably the reason a lot of subs have left and the devs just ignore us.
I’ll be happy to have it when I try to level up my non-Druid alts. Fighting through tons of mobs to get a quest done, no thanks.
i unsubbed 9.1 was anti-hype
Haven’t really been hyped for a patch since Cataclysm. Maybe I will find something enjoyable in this patch. Maybe it will just be more of the same and my subscription will continue to tick away to nothingness.
If my spec had actually had it’s glaring issues addressed I’d be happy, and relatively excited.
However that didn’t happen and my sub is up a week after the raid releases - unlikely to be extended.
FFXIV and TBC for me! Maybe I’ll come back in 10.0
bumping so maybe hopefully someone at blizzard can read this thread and have a single clue as to how their player base feels
I’m not, though I really wish I was. I came back about a month ago to see how I feel about the game and I’m just not having fun anymore like I used to. There’s a few things I enjoy doing still, but I don’t think it justifies a sub. It’s really hard to walk away from something I have so much time and effort invested into, but I have to be honest with myself
No, called it quits. Not happy with the direction they are going. Enjoying FFXIV!
The things I’m most happy about in 9.1
I get to fly in these small, horribly condensed zones that have mobs every 5 feet and world bosses in the worst places possible.
I get to at least mount in the equally if not more terribly designed Maw. Flying would’ve been nice, but mounting sure beats running.
In the end I’m just letting my subscription run out until there’s a drastic change in design philosophy.
I’m not. Wasn’t really hyped for Shadowlands to begin with. So far it’s my least favorite expansion & I can’t be bothered to step in to those awful zones & do that damned content anymore. Really wish I could have an opt out option for Shadowlands so I can just go & fish in the south sea until the next expansion.
Not even a little bit. Game is stale, PVP is Trash now, Torghast was DOA and all they did with dungeons is turned them into an eSport no one wanted.
Activision has milked this cash cow dry.
Final Fantasy 14 is looking real good right now.
Not hyped, no. But I’ll still play it.
I’m more intrigued than anything, but there’s no excitement attached to it this go around.
