I wouldn’t unlink it and wait the penalty, since this is direct from Blizzard:
“Rewards will eventually expire 7 days after you claim them on Twitch but do not have a linked Battle.net account. Consult the promotion for specific details.”
I was one of those people with the connected accounts who claimed the promotion on Twitch 10+ hours ago with no results.
I just logged out of WoW completely for about 10 minutes and then was prompted by Bnet to patch it when I restarted Bnet. After the patch applied, I started WoW up and logged in where I then had the notification of new mounts to be opened in the mount tab. I don’t know if any of that fixed the problem or if it was just a delay in the system getting them sent out.
the twitch 7 day wait penalty only applies if you disconnect the current twitch account and connect a ‘new’ twitch account. If you’re reconnecting the same twitch account, it does not initiate that wait period. I did this last night and my mounts were in my mount log this morning upon login.
Apparently I’m just not very bright, and thought I had to watch the 30th Anniversary video on Twitch to get the reward. Looks like you just have to watch 20 minutes of random live streaming on Warcraft’s channel.
watched it, claimed it, been waiting for days for the drops and nothing, anyone else get theirs yet?
Got my rewards a few hours or so after claiming.
Mine showed up - took a day maybe, can’t recall exactly but they did show up (from a linked Twitch).
