3 buttons that you cant program because blizzard locks you into your main bar and has 0 customizability… or how you cant use abilities to come out of the car unless they are NOT on your main bar? like what???
So I’ve been busy with Zekvir, and have just now got to Undermine and started using the car.
It’s great, takes a minute to get accustomed to it, but it’s fine imo and I’m old as dirt.
Just gotta do like irl, if you’re going too fast, take your foot off the gas.

The car is great.
Not after I got the upgrades and can drift easily. I really enjoy it now.

I just wish I could actually upgrade it. The whole system is confusing.
Essentially, you kill silver elites to get some kind of item to drop but can’t use it because you have to “combine it” with 4 or 5 other different items. Then that last item NEVER drops.
Overall, it feels like a waste of the players time, and just not implemented or introduced very well either. I wouldn’t mind a DRIVE system itself though for Ground Mounts outside of Undermine. That’d be great to be racing around in the Meat Wagon for example. 
All i ask is this. Open the rest of the xpacs roads beaches and cliffs to being able to drive 
You can buy them all on the AH.
And most of them sell for 30g or less.

I don’t understand how so many people seem to get stuck on random bits and bobs, I drive with the map up and I never hit any obstacles.

I have to restart races every now and then because I bounce off something. Most of the time I can avoid stuff.

I absolutely do not like the new undermine car. It is really not enjoyable.

“Hate” is a strong word. I don’t really like it. Not sure what the point is.
Left button to accel. Right button to look/steer. Thumb1 to drift. Thumb 2 to stop.
Comes from 2 years of driving around Night City on Jackie’s ARCH.
I did all the races on gold. I’m not a fan. If I wanted a car game I’d go play car games. I hope it’s a one-off gimmick for the zone and it doesn’t follow us around forever after.

I use my ground mount. A cow in a car is just plain silly

Everyone is different and opinions are valid. I really enjoy it myself, but I don’t see winning races doing it, I’m just not that good. No issues with it overall though and happy to have it. Still use my ground mount sometimes for quick jaunts.
