Anyone else find this dungeon pool to just not be fun?

I feel like Blizz has made wayyyyyyy too many mechanics and way too much groupwide damage that unless you have a solid healer in your group you just don’t stand a chance.

Also feels like playing ranged, there is just way too many mechanics forcing you to move constantly that you spend more time cancelling casts and being frustrated than anything

I think it is a mistake to not include all 8 DF dungeons in the mythic+ pool. Especially for S1. I get why some whiners don’t want 12 dungeons because getting score in all 12 dungeons is hard (though I think the counter to that is simply not requiring score in all but meh, I just want more variety).

But all the DF dungeons are pretty cool imo. I think your complaint about casters is pretty warranted but speaks more to the fact how much weaker casters are to play and/or how OP melee and movement is. All casters should be much more mobile by default with rewards for turreting.

yea not gonna lie all 4 of the new ones look pretty tough even at just +15 levels.

i like the new ones but hate the recycled ones. hope ill get used to it.

sad thing is ill do a lot of m+ and theyll take that as a
“yep its good look at the engagement!”

ruby life pools seems crazy overtuned in comparison to the other dungeons.

Jade Temple’s revamp was unneeded and is frankly just brutal.

Nokhud everything is a super damage sponge for some reason.

Azure Vault is just long. So long.

SMBG was fine. Academy is fun.

Ya smbg and academy are fine. So tired of every single boss fight just feeling like you’re running everywhere with all the mechanics going on. That on top of the seasonal affix forcing you to move, quaking forcing you to spread, etc. it’s all too much

Jade Temple is actual garbage. Trash is mega overtuned.

That dispell dot on the last boss is also horrible.

It’s not mega overtuned, it’s just anti-mass pull, which is contrary to the CM strats.

Haunting Shas need the fear kicked, the Crane needs to be kited to let the debuff fall off for tanks.

The fish needs the sleep kicked.

hydrospeakers need their big cast (not hydrolance) kicked.

Mistweavers need their stuff kicked, while not standing in leg sweep.

Constantly having to move is not hard, it’s tedious and dumb. As the game evolved it just became: let’s see how much crap we can put on the ground.

Im loving it so far but i havent done the old ones yet except Halls of Valor.

I was not that good in Legion but I am 10x better now. I dont know why you voted for Court of Stars though. It was a straight boring dungeon.

I love Nokhud Offensive. It’s a Mythic+ with style. Love to have some acrobats from dragon flying then land perfectly to the target group of mobs. It’s AoE-fest fights and my MM Hunter loves it. There’s nothing like it.

So far, i am having a blast.

Its is absolutely just way overtuned at this point for all the trash, anything 7 is just crazy dumb. Its just not fun to do never spent so much gold in Mythic Plus before with deaths and healing pots cause healers with the way it is cant keep up at all. Not blaming healers eitehr its just overtuned Trash.

If you’re playing the game for fun, you’re playing for the wrong reason.

SMBG has some interesting trash mobs. Those Death Bolts live up to the name… and the Noxious debuffs are no joke if they aren’t interrupted/dispelled. The boss fights were pretty easy, but I think some of the trash mobs might be overtuned… had some people getting killed in a global in a +4 which seemed kinda weird.

The trash at the end of Jade Temple is nuts. The mistweavers that channel can literally drop people in a couple seconds if they aren’t interrupted. We had a DK tank who died like 4-5 times on the last pull right before the final boss too. Nobody wanted to burn CD’s to kill that group cause it’s right before the last boss.

I can only imagine on higher keys some of the revamped older dungeons are going to be absolutely brutal.

We had a DH tank who died through Guardian Spirit because he pulled 2 packs of wolves right next to Fenrir in a +4. – Note we didn’t pull Fenrir, literally the man got obliterated by like 4 dogs through priest CDs.

Might just be a gear / skill thing but there are probably some tuning issues. We had one dungeon where we had like 31 deaths and still +2’d the key which seemed weird.

my group walked through 9 & 10s of a few dungeons, but were in ruby life pools for an hour and a half LOL the difference was unreal.
