I don’t understand all the hate for store mounts. I feel like WoW is one of the better MMOs as far as store stuff. Go look at the FFXIV store… it’s nuts. I can’t think of an MMO that does not have store items right off the top of my head.

FFXIV puts the mounts in store once the event is over–that way those that missed can get it. This is just straight to the store in place of an event. That is the issue imo.
Mounts are cosmetic. There’s hundreds of other mounts to choose from that are obtainable in-game.
And if that grinds your gears so much, get the gold to buy WoW tokens and buy it that way-- treat it as a 230k gold mount.

I am year of the dog, so I bought the year of the dog mount. I have no regrets it is fluffy and cute. This game lacks fluffy cute stuff. Not a huge fan of rats, so I didn’t get that one, but can appreciate how it looks on smaller races as it scuttles around.
There are already Yak mounts in game, but maybe this will look more akin to Niuzao . Plenty of celestial serpent mounts from pandaria, but they seem to of stopped there. Be interesting to see what they come up with for year of the ox.

The in-game store and WoW token has been a detriment to the game for a long time now.
The faceless corporation only cares about money - they hire sociologists to find novel ways to subtly manipulate you into spending even more money.
They don’t care about the health of the game, they don’t care about the people playing their game. They care about their bottom-line and that’s a hard MF’in truth.
2021 crony capitalism vidya games suck - and I’m just about to fire up the SNES and say funk this mess.

Definitely. Make it sway as it walks…swats flies with its tail and lows at random and loud.
Also you can milk it for the consumable milk. The milking would be replete with stool and sitting at the business end and the milk consumables go into your pack.
The cow’s lows would change appropriately as the milking happens.

Sadly to those people, they never take that into account. 
“Oh you can get it for free!” …except the token has to exist in order to get it for free. Somebody has to buy it for you. Yeah, you don’t have to pay for it, but i don’t see how that’s truly free if you need to rely on another person buying it just so you can keep playing the game for free. If you can truly play the game for free, and i don’t mean free trials or demos, the full game for free, you don’t have to do really anything, it should be free by default. Sadly, anything that is free always have a sort of catch.

You know it is weird, they only have 1 pet on the store that can be interacted like that (the dog pet that can give you beer). I wonder why they never made more.
They don’t sell well. If they did,. they’d make more.
