Anyone else excited about the Chinese NY Mount?

It’s year of the Ox so we’re definitely gonna get something uniqueish (although it could just be based off the yak skeleton).

And before anyone starts crying about store mounts, they gave us 80+ freaken amazing in game mounts right out the gate.

That doesn’t excuse selling mounts for cash. I’m not excited for something I can’t obtain through in game means. Before anyone mention the Token, that’s still bought from someone else with money.

Still in game and still overall cheaper than a 500k mount that you would have no problem buying.

I bought the 2 million gold spider mount completely through playing the actual game. No excuses.

And I bought the 2 million gold spider mount and the 5 million gold auction house mount through playing the actual game. What’s your point?

You would rather they put in a mount for 2 million gold which profits them very little rather than having it in a store for $25 that you can still purchase through the game for a fraction of the gold and supplements Blizzard’s overall profits significantly.

That’s the difference. Some silly made up moral code rather than realizing that this game has a dwindling population for no other reason than it’s 15+ years old (and before you say something dumb, name a single game that has maintained it’s population over 15 years without needing to go to mobile) and Blizzard being able to supplement it’s income with a single store mount while still being able to provide 80+ gorgeous in game mounts is a good thing.

I will see if it looks any good. So it really depends.

I find this funny because I see videos of non-stop feedback, (Rather of WoW or Blizzard as a company) down votes and comments (on their own videos they release) of what people want from Blizzard. Expressing how much they want to support them. Yet they don’t like to offer things people request, or listen.

I have personally felt the sting of my requests feeling like they reach no one. The ones that hold the most significance for me in particular. Yes I been paying the sub fee still, but I sure didn’t purchase anything from the Blizzard ingame/cashshop sale that just passed. I usually like to take advantage of this, but feel like Blizzard has being selective so in turn I am too.

If the mount looks ridiculous or unappealing I would not support it. They will not stop this tradition of the Chinese NY mount anyways.

Don’t care, already pay $15/m along with an expansion every 2 or so years. Cool stuff should be earnable in game.

You can buy it with gold, that’s the great thing about their store, they accounted for people like you and let you carry bnet balance.
