Kind of bored leveling alts but there isn’t much else to do with max level toons unless you’ve been keeping up with the AP Jones. I 120’d two warrior tanks already and this one is slowly climbing up now…hic!

I still don’t get what is ironic about posting on a DH when saying Classic leveling is slow paced.

You realise Classic was released and we can literally log in now and see it for what it is ?
If you can’t even push a button every GCD, it’s slow as heck.

I did back in 2005 when I played my main for the first time (he’s literally the same toon I made back in Vanilla and raided on back then) and again in September.
I feel like I’m repeating myself.
Point the false information I posted, you have yet to do so, and you even agreed with me that “You can just auto-attack!”, aka : classes are slow.
I guess retail classes are slow since they also allow you to auto attack.
God forbid you attack while you wait for other cooldowns and or energy resources.
Do it again, 15 years is a long time.

Why can’t I also use builders and spenders and push an attack every GCD ? Why “wait” at all ? Downtime = Slow classes. Retail GCD locked DPS specs >>>>>>>>>>>> Classic auto-attack wait for ressources.
You could not repeat yourself if you simply stopped and admit you know classes are slow in Classic. Because they are. No one is under the impression that Classic class design is remotely good.
Except in current leveling, it is extremely sparse.
Fire Mage, for example:
Oh, I can’t wait until I get to 40 so I can get Combustion!
Oh, I can’t wait until I get to 48 so I can get a second charge of Fire Blast!
Oh, I can’t wait until I get to 60 for a third charge of Fire Blast!
Oh, I can’t wait until I get to 78 so I have a core class feature!
Oh, I can’t wait until I get to 90 so I can have Conflagration!
Oh, I can’t wait until I get to 100 so I can have Meteor!
Oh, I can’t wait until I get to 120 so I can grind essences!
There’s a lot of huge, open gaps where you literally get nothing and that’s where the boredom sets in for most people, which is why they are condensing the levels down.

I have no will to level up alts right now but only because I kind of want to wait until the leveling system is revamped in Shadowlands and do it then.
Alt leveling is fine. It’s boring but doable.
Though I tend to lose motivation around 90-100 when I realize that there’s basically no light at the end of the tunnel and farming essences is even more boring than leveling.

Classic’s large population disagrees.
And i see more people complaining about BFA class design more often than not.
And these forums having a reputation of complaining proves it. As does the wow subreddit.
If you insist that Classic is bad class design then i suppose i should not stop you from thinking otherwise.
I’l let the statistics and opinions of BFA vs Classic speak for themselves then.

No, reading through the Classic forums, it seems they mostly agree.
Imagine now if you will, that we gave BfA complainers Classic classes. One of the biggest beef BfA complainers have is that putting 2 minute CDs on the GCD slowed down the classes too much! Imagine those people trying to play anything in Classic and being greeted by “Not enough Rage!” or “Not enough Energy!” or worse yet, Paladins.
It’s a pretty popular opinion shared by a majority of people.
Let me help you with a tidbit of wisdom : People play Classic for the game, not the classes.
