Also - NO SHOES!
Why would anyone want to subject themselves to this?
Why would anyone want to subject themselves to this?
Why would anyone want to subject themselves to this?
(Note that I donât REALLY dislike Gnomes, but you had it coming!)
Awesome chaps! Always support your local Paladin
Are the best, also coming from what is essentially a furry gnome thatâs rich.
Iâll give you this
Tyrande has been awesome since WC3 and I am not going to let people lie about this anymore.
Are based!
They need all they can get. Like that one over there? Show him how to tie those shoes youâre so fond ofâŚ
Conversely, does that make you a furrless, nub-eared Vulpera?
Can you imagine being married to such overwhelming melodrama for thousands of years? No wonder Malfurion spends so much time sleeping.
None of my married friends are happy so no lmao
Yeah nah, Horde is evilâŚdonât care what good side you see when you play them, seen more than enough of the bad to make a judgement
The points made in the post are good ones, but as to this specifically. It would be nice to have more non-orc aesthetic representation out in the world, but when have we really had non-human focused aesthetics Alliance side besides the allied race ones in legion/BFA, same as the lack of non-orc ones outside the same?
The only time weâve really had non-human, or non-orc focused aesthetics (Alliance garrison also being Human focused same as Horde was Orc) is racial start zones and immediately neighboring ones (Dun Morogh and Loch Modan for Dwarves, same as Tirisfal and Silverpine for Undead, etcâŚ)
Youâve ONLY seen from the perspective of the Alliance storyline, just saying. Iâll repeat that I play BOTH sides, so you are biased when making that statement, at least until you play through a Horde campaign from 1-70.
Hmmm this reminds me of somethingâŚ
âFrom my point of view the Jedi are evilâ
Sympathy for the Devil card it is
you are biased when making that statement, at least until you play through a Horde campaign from 1-70.
I have. Mainly because I wanted to get the achievement that gives you the Wolf/Horse and to do some stuff with my husband. I will tell you I did feel like the villain most of the time. I really do not enjoy playing the antagonist
Trust me Iâd be Horde if I could; because my own husband is Horde. I just cant do it. The Aesthetics kill it for me. I was also not a fan of The Horde story or NPCs yelling at me. With that said my husband is kind of the opposite of me in games he likes being the bad guy.
I guess this is why when we play SWTOR he is Imp and Im Pub.
Being republic doesnât necessarily mean being good though, Darkside Jedi Consular is some great story, and one has their own pirate army by the end loyal to the character personally.
And the Republic appreciates them even if the Jedi do not (the Jedi Order refuses to make the character a Jedi Master, but the Republic says those guys are wrong for doing that to you, so weâre making you a General in the Republic in spite of them)
(Iâve done way to much SWoTR, having played fully through fully lightside & fully darkside of every Republic and Imperial class, same as one of every class on Alliance & Horde to max for WoW)
I started Horde, then went Alliance, and have mostly stayed there.
It really comes down to the cities and hubs for me. Orgrimmar sucks. Dazaralor also sucks. Thunder Bluff is nice but too disconnected. Iâm indifferent to Silvermoon.
I play both for the story and variety but I love me some Alliance. They just have much better cities and aesthetics.
Iâm an RPer and I remember making my Dracthyr on Horde before DF launched. I couldnât find anywhere I wanted to set her Hearth that was practical, because she is a very academic and intelligent type. Orgrimmar doesnât have any areas that reflect people with scholarly interests and I couldnât imagine her being happy in a shanty mud but.
Nevermind the poor Nightborne and Blood Elves.
Team both sides.
I have two max level Horde characters, but I would say that over 90% of my time is spent on the Alliance.
All my points stand. Your responses have been archived in my recycle bin.
In MoP, as a Horde, the local Pandaren explain that they were helping the Alliance survivors, and werenât allowed to leave until the Alliance airbase was built. That sounded like they were using those Pandaren as slave labor. Then there was the Foresaken fleet that was about to send a landing party to the shore in the Broken Isles, and the Alliance broke the truce, and attacked them. Then thereâs the Alliance annexing part of the Barrens, and using the Grimtotems to attack the Tauren.
Not to mention the whole situation with the Vulpera:
That at least has some justification as it was wartime, however the fact they see these intricate caravans that are obviously more then pulled carts, and a people they have never met, and go right to burning them instead of talking to them, is not a âgood guyâ act.
Also ignoring the fact the Alliance squads were called Purge squads before it was changed, likely from the massive backlash from the PTR players:

A few more times than Horde, it feels like, though not by a large margin - but at the end of the day, I donât quite mind the human-dominant aesthetic since itâs⌠at least pleasing to the eye, for me.
Iâm forever going to be upset we couldnât have a choice of garrison building design, though. Even just giving us like The Big Three, aesthetics-wise, wouldâve been better than forcing human/orc aesthetic on the place.
I am Alliance for life! I did try horde back in Wrath at one point because I played to raid hardcore all these expansions (and Vanilla) and the guild I was in was falling apart so wanted a change of scenery and tried Horde. Transferred back to Alliance once I found another raiding guild as soon as my transfer CD was up.
I missed being a gnome too much and I missed SW and IF etc.
