When I transferred here with a friend from another server, some of our names were taken. I’m trying to help my friend get his original name back.

He’s a 110 dk. The names free up on new expac release day.
Keep in mind, whilst the character may be 110, the account tied to it might still be active.
If that’s the case, the name won’t be freed up.
All the best luck to you though, I’ve had names I’ve wanted too… and it belongs to a level 20 Gnome for the past 2 expansions… grr.
This is why I always check achievements. The character in question does have the achievement for a 120 character, so it will not be unlocked at launch.
