Any way to get guild lead before 3 months?

So i joined a new guild 2 months ago now and the GM is all but inactive. He had 4 characters in the guild and now its down to 1, i tried to add them as friends to see when hes on but it says player not found. Which i was told it means hes no longer on the server.

We the few he made officers have done a ton of work to make this guild get off the ground and hes leaving, not answering discord or in game, or making an attempt at contacting anyone. I dont want to have to make a new guild, its a pain trying to get everyone over and bank and discord (which I own ours and made the whole thing).

So is there a way to petition or something, before the 3 months are up? He may just randomly sign on once in a great while for a min or two and it would consider him active. Thanks for any advice.

That’s what I would do personally, but since you asked if there’s any way to get guild lead before 3 months, the easiest would be to have the guild leader give it to you.

Could submit a ticket but don’t expect much from Blizzard’s customer “support.” Blizzard would rather you wait 3 months than spend less than 5 minutes helping you.

ive tired, he wont answer :frowning:

Personally, I would leave and form a new guild.

Transferring guild ownership does have some fairly specific requirements, and seems to be a mostly automated process at this point, provided you meet those requirements. Namely, “You can claim the leadership of your guild if your Guild Master has been offline for 90 consecutive days, and you are ranked second, third, or fourth in your guild roster.”

“If you don’t see the option to dethrone, it means the Guild Master is active, you don’t have a high enough rank to claim the leadership, or an active guild member outranks you and is next in succession before you.”
