Any veterans find hunters more boring than ever?

My understanding was that statement was in reference to how people played back in Retail Vanilla, not current WoW Classic.

I got more focused into the rotation and whatnot of BM/SV in BFA.

I’d say current BM is about on par with where it was back when the Big Red Kitty did all of our damage.

This is pretty much what I said. I think BM is better in BFA than in Legion.

The un killable would be the Demon Hunter flying bat… I could careless about ARENAS I never play them… Most people never play them, so basically your saying the whole spec is built around arenas ?

Why do that ?

I am speaking of world encounters, where you run into the stun bat of laser eyed joke death that flys OMFG HAHAHAHAH.

Or the Drud bear guy with 1 million hit points…

Un Killable seriously ?

Mongoose needs work, I think it is supposed to be central to damage for the SV …
I use moongoose fury talent but by the time you stack the the bite your 15% increase sometimes is less than the base attack of 22,730.

The only time have seen a hit like say 70k was when I stacked latent tossed the right bomb and struck and to do that is near impossible.

When you stack mongoose in the time frame needed which takes a few seconds your taking damage normally and using shadow meld Feign Dead and Intimidation and possibly Muzzle to stay in range long enough to get the stacks of mongoose Bite.

Then you survive all that to get a mongoose fury hit that should be enhanced by latent that’s less than the base attack of mongoose bite.

Moongoose fury does not hit for a 15% increase that I have seen on a 22k base attack even when you stack latent poison.

But as a new player I actually like hunter in the current state. It’s not boring to me. It’s just simple in PvE. As you said, just keep barbed shot and applying KC. Simple as that. That’s why I play this class. What’s wrong with being simple but not engaging? If I want more engaging experience I would play other class such as rogue or feral druid.
