If I said the people who are hard core against dual spec are illogical and irrational in a public forum I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the people who think they are pushing hard against dual spec would take offense. Basically because blizzard refuses to weigh in on the conversation one way or the other. All they have to do is make a simple statement about dual spec in TBC Classic and we can end these dual spec conversations as one opinion or the other becomes irrelevant at that point.
But as has been pointed out community interaction has been very very poor.

Note - this is not a reply to any of Feywaifs posts. Every single time I reply to Feywaif it’s in reponse to her stalking and replying to my post. Feywaif replied to this post that has nothing to do with her. This happens all the time. I want her to stop. I reply to her unwanted interjections to tell her to stop. My comment started as a reply to Corpseknife. Be gone Feywaif. It doesn’t concern you. Stop stalking my posts. Don’t follow my posts. Such as this reply chain to Corpsknife or other threads. I never reply to your posts unless it’s to tell you to stay off mine.
Then why bring me into it at all? My first impulse was to post that none of what you’re saying applies to me. But you’ve already said that. I couldn’t weigh in on this post about Fasc even if I wanted to. Just as I told whoeveritwas above. I don’t remember these trivial conversations I had months ago. Just because Fasc was on my “side” doesn’t mean I’ve burned every word he posted into my memory. I can’t recall a single argument he made on the dual spec threads. I’ve effin moved on long ago.

I don’t take issue with your preferences. When I talk about pro dual specers I am predominantly talking of those that tried to build an “objective case” like Fasc and his veneration of convenience, and Zyrius’ absolutely commitment to accepting changes, and Delemicus’ commitment to a Youtube poll.
The only issue I take with you is how obnoxious you are about anything I post and your weird tendency to think I am thinking of you when I write stuff. I don’t. Or rather I do now because I know you’ll show up and take personal offence. I’ve come to expect you to pipe in after anything I post now. I literally was not thinking of you at all in my comments about convenience features. In this case you claimed you didn’t say what I attributed to “You”. Anyways - I’m happy for a truce if you are. Your position isn’t the position I’m arguing against. It’s the position I’m saying is flawed, not the person. If you didn’t make the argument my generalisation is arguing against then it’s not talking about you.
Truce, no truce. The concept doesn’t even enter my mind. I respond to the comments I read when I have something to say. Most often I don’t even look at the name of the person writing the comment. It’s only when there’s a back and forth do I notice I’m responding to “riger.” If it’s a long thread with several dialogs I’ll remember the conversations I had in the beginning of that thread or in other similar threads adjacent in time. It’s been weeks since the last dual spec thread and I’ve forgotten almost all of it. I have a distant memory of arguing with you. If you remind me of certain points made I might recall some of them. Do you think I’m holding a grudge? I do remember your name and have some indistinct memory of talking to you. Most of the people in those threads I don’t even remember their name.
This forum is a small trivial pursuit for me. It doesn’t matter much to me. As I’ve said I do many more things in my life that matter much more to me. I spend my intellectual energy remembering the things I study in the books I read. Or the music I listen to since it’s kinda like study because it’s the more complex variety, jazz and classical and very little pop. I forget the forum threads a few weeks after the thread ends.
Well fine, can you at least move on from assuming that generalisations I make are personally targeting you? They’re not. They’re typically targeting people that have formed arguments that they push as objective facts. I don’t recall you doing that. I’ve only started thinking about you at all because you seem to rail road the issues I try to discuss as “personal attacks” on you.
I don’t accept that view as an accurate description of my posts. But I really don’t want to talk about it. You’ve always been more interested in discussing the meta of the conversation, how we talk to each other, rather then the reasoning and arguments of the posts. Like I said above, you’ll ignore 5 paragraphs of reasoning to focus on one sentence that could be construed as an insult. I’m not interested in discussing the meta of the dialog at all.
Because I don’t have significant issues with the reasoning of your posts. I focus on the meta discussion with you because that’s the only discussion that exists with us. My point was that Blizzard don’t always make changes that enhance convenience, that was the topic I was discussing. That was a reference to Fasc’s position on convenience mainly.
You inserted yourself into that even though you’ve never commented on that issue. You made it a meta conversation about whether or not I was attacking you … You do that regularly with my posts. Railroading the actual point I was making with defensive “counter attacks” calling into question my honesty and motives and claiming it’s all a ruse to attack you even where I never referred to you or addressed anything you ever said… I want you gone. Leave me alone. So that I can focus on actual topics and not have to deal with your narcissistic belief that it’s all about you.

I’m certainly not going to go back to some conversation more than 25 days ago to see how you’re distorting that conversation so you can attack and insult Fasc.
