For the last 2, almost 3 months, I’ve kind of just stopped playing. I haven’t really even touched the anniversary event yet other than to check the vendors. I even let my sub run out until I recently renewed it to play Classic a bit to relax.
I think a big reason I’ve stopped playing has been due to the fact Priests haven’t had any substantial reworks or class changes that interest me enough to want to continue suffering the class design we have now. I don’t want to play alts really lately either (looking at Resto Shaman), even though I do like my Mage and Balance Druid.
I don’t know. I guess I’m lightly ranting, but I really expected some kind of real Priest rework to be announced or at least data-mined at this point. No such luck. I hope the rest of you guys are finding fun with the game right now.

I stopped playing after getting all keys timed in 12s and getting pvp set.
Tried some 13s but as a holy priest feels so much work and stress that it’s not worth it, it was easier with my rsham but I don’t enjoy playing him that much.
Only thing that could make me touch retail again is if Holy priest gets a revamp in 11.1 because I don’t even like goblin thematics… so yea…
If it doesn’t happen guess I’ll just stick with the Classic fresh servers

I recently realized that I enjoy playing WoW with friends.
It’s fun to do M+ or Raids with them.
But since my friends stopped playing, I’ve noticed that the game is boring. It’s always the same.
Specifically speaking about M+:
I really find it a boring and extremely shallow concept.
Reusing the same dungeons over and over, for months or years, under the premise of “new content” just because the item level is higher.

Took a brief break, but I just got back in and started clearing some 8s today. Gonna work on getting to all 10s, as my stated goal.
GB and Siege are going to be last.

I got six characters to 80 including an Earthen, but haven’t been motivated to do much else for the reasons you mention. Lack of any communication from the devs why Priests were ignored all beta really did it for me. Following an expansion in which feedback was also ignored.
I have gotten on recently to push through delves and do some of the anniversary event. Also as Vezza mentioned, if friends aren’t playing, it’s not nearly as fun. The 11.1 content may bring some back, but more likely it will be player housing in Midnight that will gain their interest again. Hopefully by then Priests will get a rework that puts us on par with every other class as far as interrupts, mobility, and class / talent tree point spread goes.

In all fairness. The hero talents was a substantial class rework. Whether or not the balance is there, it definitely hasn’t felt the same as DF.
I’ve been pushing keys on my tank alt. Timed all +12s and working on +13s.
Tanking is a lot less stressful then healing in keys imho especially once you know all the routes in your head.
Outside of that I clock in my 8 on the Priest and raid log. I think 2 more weeks and I don’t need crests anymore.
I play WoW to play with friends, fulfill some goals then I take a break.
It’s okay to move on to something else for a time. Breaks are good.
This feels like a white-hot take to me. Archon and voidweaver shift power from the core kit and into short cooldowns that you wouldn’t want to delay before TWW anyway, so that’s essentially zero change from Dragonflight, and oracle does nothing because only 3 people use it.
Sub has been expired for a little while now. Wow just isn’t fun for me any more. It’s perfectly fine to take a break and check in later or not at all.
Prepaid through 2025 so can’t really quit. I stopped pushing keys and am only doing four 10s for vault. The stress and aggravation it has caused to push any higher isn’t worth it.
I know this will sound crazy but siege is definitely the easiest, especially for pugs.
Grim batol and ara’kara are your pug killers at 10 and higher.

My friends understood that subjecting me to Holy Priest was cruel and unusual punishment so they don’t mind my hiatus.
Told them I’d be back post rework.
The only thing that keeps me playing Priest is shadow if it belonged to another class like a warlock I wouldn’t play with a priest at all.
Im paid up on 2 accounts till 2027. Looking at Caths raider io he has done double the keys that i have of worth, me having helped gear my tank friend, so plenty of enjoyment for me to have with my 4-8 keys a week and hardcore classic to play
I hit the keys hard early in the season and then start raid logging half-way through.
I also got my tank alt: https://raider.io/characters/us/bleeding-hollow/Irelynna
Damn bro thats impressive as. Im going to presume you dont have kids ![ ](https://d38bqls1q93fod.cloudfront.net/en/wow/images/emoji/twitter/slight_smile.png?v=12)
Nope I’m happy with both disc and shadow. I think they’re both in great shape and aside from some talent bloat are perfectly fine, fun, more than viable, and overall feel nice to play.
Hate at that all you want but I’m very convinced that most of the community is delusionally entitled and flat out wrong on most of the things cried about daily around here.

I would say yes and no.
Priests had literally zero changes throughout the entire TWW alpha and beta while several classes got their 3rd rework in 2 years. Blizzard also did not communicate during the beta at all and simply rushed things along because the entire beta process was 2 months shorter then the last few expansions.
With zero communication: we have no idea what they’re doing with Priests. We need a rework on our talent trees more then anything because literally all 3 specs are bloated with 2 point nodes on the bottom of the tree.

That’s how I feel too. Really frustrating to be dismissed all the time as a complainer when Priest has objectively received so little changes compared to everyone else. Apparently, that means Priest is perfect then in these people’s eyes, but many disagree with that obviously.
