So on my warlock one of my favorite things to do was enslave demon… unfortunately in classic there are not many. But the 2 most powerful ones was firstly the Imp in ZG edge of madness. And in diremaul east, there’s actually a few different variations on the Satyr demons you could enslave. (Also to a lesser extent you could enslave a pretty strong felguard during the final part of the warlock epic mount summon quest). But those were the only 3 and it’s very limited on how often you enslave those.
However TBC is coming now and it’s an expansion that has many many demons. So I’m wondering if there’s any fun demons in this expansion we get to play around with. Been lookin around the internet and I can’t find too much info on this.
I remember the little engineer demons in Mechanar had some ridiculous spammable ability that was good for deleting the two mini-bosses. I can’t remember if it got fixed at some point in BC, though. I just remember having to convince new warlocks that yes, it was worth giving up their Imp dps for them.
A couple that I can remember from back in the day.
-Elite demons in nagrand for leveling/pvp.
-Pit lords in SMV.
-Felguards in Blood furnace.
-Bomb lobbers in Mechanaar.
That’s all i can remember atm.
EDIT: Odds are if you can enslave it do it. Worst comes to worst it’s a lost soul shard, Best case scenario you have an absolute monster to level with.
