TBC Classic seems to be showing up in my curse forge client as Retail 2…but when updating addons they go all the way up to 9.x (retail) instead of stopping at 2.x
The addons I’ve been using in the TBC beta are from curse furge and they work just fine. It just seems to be an issue with the client not recognizing the new game. It still shows addons for 1.13
I just got through downloading my WoW Classic addons from Curseforge and putting them into the classic_era/Interface/Addons folder. Then I copied that folder into the Burning_Crusade_Classic/Interface folder. Then I went back to Curseforge and download any that I found using the WoW Burning Crusade Classic filter to overwrite any that changed, but none of mine did. I think we’re pretty much still using the WoW Classic addons since this isn’t TBCC, it’s the pre-patch.
I have the current WoWup client and it just shows classic, retail, and the classic beta (BCC). In the classic category, which is now 2.51 in the classic folder, when I update it still retrieves classic 1.13.7 addons. Are you thinking at some point it will recognize it’s 2.51 and update the addons? It certainly is not ready to play without a manual installation of addons.
