Any active mods on TBC section?

We literally got 1 dude who is responsible for 80% of spam/trash threads.
And yes, it is against CoC.

Spamming or Trolling

This category includes:

  • Excessively communicating the same phrase, similar phrases, or pure gibberish
  • Creating threads for the sole purpose of causing unrest on the forums
  • Causing disturbances in forum threads, such as picking fights, making off topic posts that ruin the thread, insulting other posters
  • Making non-constructive posts
  • Abusing the Reported Post feature by sending false alarms or nonsensical messages
  • Numbering a thread, IBTL, TLDR, or any other fad statements

If a player is found to have participated in such actions, they will:

  • Be given a temporary or permanent ban from the forums, depending upon severity

Creating Duplicate Threads

This category includes:

  • Creating threads about existing topics
  • Creating a separate thread about an existing topic for further discussion in more than one forum

If a player is found to have participated in such actions, they will:

  • Be given a temporary ban from the forums, depending upon severity

Like, for realz. I don’t need to call out his name. Everyone active on those should know exactly whom I’m talking about.

and folks bite the bait, sadly. Account being hidden, I can’t even mute/ignore this said individual.

Some forum mod activity would be nice.

If appropriate action is taken, I promise you, TBC forum section will be hecka cleaner.

Unfortunately, this is the only place I found t submit this feedback.
Dude straight up posts on 7 alts, likes his own posts. He’s been caught and called out multiple times by a number of other forum users. How’s this not abuse?

Flag and move on if it violated teh COC it will be dealt with the mods dont xmoderate.

So the bad thing here is that Customer Support is a forum for players to help other players. There aren’t GMs or anything of the like here, and generally speaking, our SFAs stick to this section as do other SFAs/CMs do theirs. We do randomly get folks who come here looking for someone to swing the ban hammer on folks, but it doesn’t really work like that.

That said, you still can ignore/mute specific characters and such beyond doing it from their profile. If you go into your profile, then hit the preferences tab. Go down the left side to “Users.” From there you just have to manually add the person (name and server) to either ignore or mute.

Moderators aren’t broken down to separate sections of the forums. They respond primarily to reports.

If you see a post you feel violates the Code of Conduct, please be sure to use the reporting option.
