Anti-RDF players had 3 years to play AND still have Classic Era. You missed the boat

Or more immediately to wrath we can start with Cata issues like Heroic dungeons and merging 10/25 mans.

Much like how we got classic as a whole.

Seems to me the changes for Wrath are aimed at maximizing retention rate based on tendencies and player data collected across classic thus far.

Because of this, it’s easy to argue that RDF not existing was a deliberate decision aimed at the average player habits in classic.

IE, a decision made for the majority.

Given how many bugs we’re seeing I think it’s more likely blizzard just couldn’t get RDF working properly and is gas lighting why they didn’t include it.

The game has been buggy since 2004.

It’s always buggy, and it always will be.

Right there is why Blizzard doesn’t release data. If they did, guys would jump all over it and claim it was manipulated or it was fake.

It not being in the game was a very deliberate decision that posts on the forums will not change.

No one talks about it on Reddit.
No one talks about it in game.

Not that many people care.

Hmm… Wrath Classic is buggy in way s wrath never was.

Whooo… I loved the flight path to ebon hold not working.

No but forums posts are an indication of general player sentiment which most definitely does create change. Why do you think we have same faction BG’s in classic, cause that was totally a classic feature?

Brother these forums are an indication of nothing.

You’re at least reasonable, but most people on here are not.

This is a very tiny subsection of the playerbase IE ultra casuals that post on a message board no serious players read (usually)

No they arent.

They are the loud minority most of the time.

Exactly the loud minority doesn’t want RDF.

Not sure what you mean, we are on the boat and having a great time

Vote with you wallet, don’t play it, short and simple. I like how it’s, I will continue playing. RDF did kill a lot of social interactions in vanilla time and you don’t have to prove your point, I have been there, I know how it was.

I’m totally fine with them adding RDF in the ICC patch, for old dungeons (not the new dungeons that launch with ICC), and if you queue with RDF, it drops the original normal/heroic loot, not the improved loot.

Its the loud minority demanding rdf on these forums.

And dual spec was highly liked in game by you know actual vanilla players.

And is in classic.

Apples to oranges.

Dual spec is not rdf.

It is not but at the end of the day both are just features that let players access content.

Have any of your fear mongering claims about dual spec actually happened?

You mean like guilds requiring certain people to have 2 specs? Yes it has.

My raid currently requires our mages to have off spec frost for naxx zombies as they kite them for decimate.

But thats part of wotlk class balance, things being homogenized and less restrictive. Its not just the addition of dual spec that shows this, but tbc was designed to be far more restrictive and classes/specs filling specific nitches. Attunements, class design, exc all show this type of design goal intentions for tbc.

But again, you are comparing one feature to another as if they are the same, they are not.

Dual spec being in the game has 0 connection to rdf as they are vastly different things.
