We are largely on the last patch of the expansion other than content, just like vanilla and tbc classic. As such having RDF makes perfect sense

Ive had less average wait time as a dps through lfg than i would have had through rdf.
So i wouldnt say rdf would have been objectively better in my case.
At this point in wrath yes wait times are short, level 80 dungeons are being spammed. It will very quickly revert to what it did in vanilla and TBC classic.
Cool, if RDF was in you could still do it your way.

The people actually playing wotlkc would get shafted. The people who dont want to play an mmorpg as an mmorpg are the ones who want it.
RDF is how an MMO RPG is supposed to be played in Wrath. And no you don’t get shafted RDF does not in any way prevent you from doing dungeons exactly how you do today.
RDF is you know a wrath feature.

So, why didn’t classic TBC launch with the original LFG feature that was implemented at the launch of TBC? Yes, it was horrible… But the original was actually implemented at the launch of TBC. However, on classic TBC it wasn’t added until phase 2. Were you upset about this? Probably not…
The servers on the last version of the game before Cata. It doesn’t mean the game is. Literally if the game was at the last patch all content should be unlocked. bro come on
As you said it was awful, so noone cared about it, nor did anyone use it back in the day and noone used it when they added in TBC Classic.
RDF on the other hand was highly popular in wrath and actually solves many issues running dungeons.
RDF is not content.

Naw wotlk is designed to encourage heroics being throughout the expansion done much more than tbc was. On top of the changes they intend to make to make them more desired for repeating it through heroic+.
It’s really not, the daily heroic becomes even less relevant since 10 mans are dropping valor at launch now.
Heroic+ will be a joke, they’re going to drop 10 man Naxx gear, which by that point almost everyone will have or better. Maybe they’ll drop valor so I guess people will have a reason to run them for a couple days?
Keep in mind for TBC before raids dropped badges dungeons were the only source for those and some of that gear was genuinely BiS.

Blizzard doesnt agree with you. Classic is supposed to represent an older style of mmorpg design than what today focuses on, for those who like the old way. Which is part of why blizzard is trying to keep the designs of classic far enough away from retail that they dont feel to similar.
IT was actually very utilized. Just because you didn’t use doesn’t mean it was utilized. You can’t pick and choose what you’re mad about. We aren’t playing the originals.
RDF is based on content. They would have to reprogram RDF to not have ICC dungeons until said dungeons are launched. Therefore, you will get RDF in the timeline it was actually introduced.
Face it. RDF didn’t exist at this point in the game. Get over it.
But the original vanilla devs did agree with me which is why they added RDF

Not exactly. I would have a smaller pool of players to group with, which would make a big impact on my ability to group “my way”.
But you keep claiming that your way is so much better, surely plenty of others feel the same?
You realize some of the devs who are making decisions on classic were there in vanilla/wotlk as well right?
So its the same devs to a degree, and they now have the advantage of hind sight. That caused them to chose not to add rdf to wotlkc.

Yes and once again these are the same devs that currently bring us retail, you think they make good design decisions?
Why is retail at so fewer subs than Wrath if those same devs(a lot of the good ones have left) are so on top of the game?
