fair enough, but be careful, it’s really bad form and your not helping the cause doing that
Exactly. It is why there is Boost and not RDF. Because if people actually played the game, then Blizzard won’t make any money off boost.
doesn’;t matter we will keep making posts until they reverse their stupid decision, if you dont like it, you are free to close your browser tab
Basically this, people think we’ll just sit silent as they ruin Classic lol. Not a chance.
Dunno why this is flagged when it speaks the truth.
Why are you doing that instead of just…leveling?
Ahaha, this is a bit of a contradicting comment.
Anti-RDF: “Random Dungeon Finder will turn the game into single player.”
Yeah, questing is just “single player” stuff. (Mostly)
Because dungeons are fun. I’m not playing an mmo so I can solo quest to max level. It’s not all about raid logging for many of us
To get into groups maybe and do dungeons? Once that XP buff ends very few will level anymore lol, the quests and mobs will go back to normal XP and with no LFD sitting in LFG chat all day for old dungeons will take even longer.
They flagged my other post too about RDF that got over 140 likes, they’ll eventually get unflagged. It’s usually the same forum trolls that will sit here and spread anti-RDF stuff. They get tired of losing every argument so they just spam report.
WoW Forums in 2022. Flagging is the Downvote. Shame Blizzard won’t do anything about people falsely flagging a post.
They don’t even do anything about the people abusing the in game automated report system, they cut the customer service side of things years ago as Activision was trying to automate everything to avoid paying real people.
I remember actually one of my friends quit the game in WoD because of the problems with the customer services. Because someone reported him for selling a BOE in the Trade Chat channel in the capital city.
Yeah this happens more than people want to admit, recently idk if you heard but thousands and thousands of people got banned for AFK in AV weekend which were mostly false positives and they had to go in and unban thousands of people manually and admitted their algorithm made a mistake.
Ironically the people who are anti-RDF are also the ones who don’t believe the system is automated lol
thwy already made changes to wrath anyways so you should’ve brought all the changes up in the post but failed to do so.
The issue with RDF it makes the world feel less full and engaging as you hardly see anyone (outside farm areas) making people feel alone thus quit.
Most players like seeing many players as it causes some to actually talk or say something and that alone can make people feel like wow is alive and enjoyable
Um… Isn’t this currently the problem that boost is actually doing? I remember from patch 3.3.0 to patch 5.4.8, there was plenty of people out in the world, until the boost were added into the cash stop, then all of a sudden, people stop levelling, because you could just boost an alt.
The other changes go without saying, the focus was on RDF because that is what will make or break Wrath for a lot of people.
Amd it doesnt.
Wotlk had no rdf for longer than it had rdf. Both versions give an athentic experience.
Well, see you in catac when they still havent changed it then.
Even if i viewed no rdf as a mistake blizzard loves to double down on their mistakes. So…
If thats how you define wotlk i feel bad for you.
Class balance. Dungeon content raid content profession balance quests, exc. Nope you chose the tool that teleports you into a dungeon as your “this is what makes wotlk wotlk” and well if that is your way of defining wotlk, retail will be more wotlk to you than wotlkc is.
WotLK released on November 13, 2008. Patch 3.3.0 released on December 7th, 2009. Cataclysm released on December 7th, 2010. So all and all, the time Wrath had no RDF was only longer by 3 weeks. Patch 3.3.0, which is also similar to the same patch we’re currently on in Wrath Classic, had RDF, because it was introduced in that patch.
