As long as the world tree (and the new Nelf home) stays in the dream, then I’m cool with whatever. I’m tired of Blizzard making changes to the world.

It’s super clear to me they are tying up loose ends and going to do a Nozdormu style reboot of Azeroth. Remember what was said in Shadowlands, that the whole of reality is a cycle. Some beings are required for the cycle to complete, and most are just fodder for fate.

Nordrassil in Hyjal - Still Alive.
Teldrassil in Darkshore - Burnt down by the Horde.
Andrassil in Grizzly Hills - Destroyed, now known as Vordrassil.
Shaladrassil in Val’sharah - Corrupted by the Nightmare, but is healing after we destroyed the Nightmare.
An Unnamed Tree in Un’goro - Long Gone, but was still present in the Emerald Dream - my theory is that this is G’hanir.
Amirdrassil - the tree in 10.2, made up of Elune’s Tear, the Winter Queen’s Power, and thousands of Night Elven souls.

  • Add great boons to those who’re near and / or tap into its energies.
  • Grant immense gifts bestowed by Dragonflights when within proximity or if attuned to them.

I think we should have MORE world trees :partying_face:

Many along with myself feel it adds a great boost to the fantasy vibes within the game. :slight_smile:

Would also love the Horde (or a Horde race) to have their own world tree too. Amirdrassil (New Night Elf world tree) looks AMAZING in the 10.2.0 patch within the Emerald Dream zone. Tad jealous on my Hordies none of us are getting something like that :joy:

Basically.

Night Elves get all the forest areas, because that’s what people expect
 and in order to get that tree we’re going to exterminate what ever stands in our way, because Night Elves are peaceful nature loving people, of course.

If nordrassil is alive why do we need the dream tree?

And dont sys nelf homes. They loved outside nordassil for thousands of years. They dont need another tree to live tbh.

Because World Trees keep the planet healthy, they are connected to the Emerald Dream and Azeroth’s overall health. They’re the equivalent of burning 2 or 3 rainforests EACH.
