Teldrassil was the only one that was grown to try to get back their immortality.
The other smaller world trees were grown to stop the spread of Saronite. Andrassil got so big, though, that its roots touched Yogg’s prison and that’s how the Emerald Nightmare started. But other than that huge disaster, the rest of the trees worked well to stop the Saronite spread. lol

well of course it is another tree. You did not think Blizz/MS/ACT would actually create new content when there is so much to regurgitate from the past.
World trees have always been an important part of the lore of Azeroth. It’s just… part of the world. Like Elementals.

Apparently according to Achievements this World Tree is intended to Bless the Leaders of the Dragons instead of the Night Elves.
Elune, the Emerald Dream and the Winter Queen are giving their Blessings through the World Tree.
The Emerald Dream is infused with Arcane and Nature so Ysera and Kalecgos are getting their Blessing from the World Tree while Elune’s Magic is of Life so Alexstrasza is getting her Blessing from the World Tree.
Furthermore Tyr’s Memory is entering the hands of AU Elisande who is converging her Alternate Selves’ Time Magic onto herself so we will be getting Nozdormu’s Blessing as well. That leaves the Earth’s Blessing.
Vyranoth is a being of Winter so the Winter Queen’s power will likely be her Blessing.

They keep growing them just to knock them down. The one in Hyjal, Nordrassil, has been healed since Cataclysm. Just move the night elves there and let’s shake the rat that is BFA’s War of Thorns story thread off our necks once and for all.
Yes, the corruption was addressed in a book. We defeated the Emerald nightmare.
Aside from Nodrassil all the other were suppose to contain the corruption of the old gods/help nature. Teldrassil was the exception, it was specifically created to try to give the night elves their immortality, but a side consequence was it was suppose to “maintain balance between nature and decay” ie, help nature as well.
I think we should evolved to a world shrub. Something a little more tasteful. More resilient to winter. Something we could prune into fun shapes.
One druid in particular tried to min-max the nature meta and planted the tree as a means to regain their immortality after Malfurion nuked Nordrassil.
Nozdormu told him to get lost and he wasn’t going to bless the tree but he did it anyway.
The night elves didn’t get their immortality, and on top of that the tree got corrupted.
There’s not that many that serves its purpose. Shaldrassil became a conduit of the Nightmare, and Teldrassil got Teldrassil’ed.
So really it’s just Nordrassil that’s left, right? And that was planted to funnel the lake and prevent it from becoming another portal for the Legion.
They become firewood. Or self-immolate when being bad-touched by Eredar.
Nature dictates wood burns. Druids of the Flame exist for that reason. Stop fighting the Druids of the Flame. They want you to know that only YOU can prevent Forest Fires. But you kill them so they have to do controlled burns.

Remember night elves lost their immortality with Nordrassil, Nozdormu can bless the new tree to make them immortal again.
The fate of the World Trees:
Nordrassil: Got it’s base burned yet survived.
Vordrassil: Got corrupted by the Saronite and chopped down.
Shaladrassil: Corrupted by the Satyrs imprisoned beneath it by the power of Xavius.
Teldrassil: Corrupted by a branch of Xavius, was later de-corrupted then burned down.
Un’Goro Crater: Corrupted by Il’gynoth before it could manifest outside of the Nightmare.
Amirdrassil: Gets it’s surroundings burned by the Druids of the Flame and arrives in Azeroth to bless the Dragon Aspects. Tree itself is left unharmed and uncorrupted despite it’s presence getting the Dream itself put to the flame.
Can’t the druids use magic to make them grow faster??

Indeed. The Tree never got out of the Emerald Dream unlike Amirdrassil.
Malfurion outright makes it clear the World Tree in Un’Goro Crater’s Emerald Dream Counterpart was legitimate.
2 World Trees were born in the Emerald Dream and in the end it was only the second of the two that manages to manifest outside of the Dream into Reality.
Amirdrassil is the most successful World Tree to the point that it is above even the Fire that burns the Emerald Dream surrounding it.
I can’t believe we’re going to see a new night elf home before we retake Gilneas.
