Yes, that’s called clarifying after receiving new information. I’m reading comments on the achievement page, not the pre-DF announcement.

I’m done discussing this with you. It was still available to get after DF launch for a period of time. This is not up for debate.

if you read the wowhead announcement, you would know that the veilstrider title wasn’t removed until dragonflight release…

10.0 was simply the dragonflight pre-patch.

I’m reading comments on the achievement page, not the pre-DF announcement.

perhaps you would be able to make statements that are more accurate if you read from the official source instead of just looking at the comments from random people.

Then look at the date of their achievement, straight from an “official source” as you would put it:

There’s no question we had a case of Blizzard saying one thing, then doing another thing. Meanwhile, many who didn’t earn the achievement on DF launch simply stopped trying because Blizzard told them the achievement was gone.

Not only was the Veilstrider situation handled poorly all-around, but their “it’s going away when Dragonflight launches” statement wasn’t even true. They didn’t decide to remove it until well after the fact.

Finally, it’s clear you don’t make genuine posts and are just “having fun” on the forums. It’s been nice chatting with you and best wishes for you and your hobby.

here’s what happened in this scenario… i’ll explain it for you very carefully so that you are sure to understand it, my lovely and wonderful newfound friend

that person completed all the requirements for veilstrider before dragonflight was released and then they didn’t log in until 1/05/2023… so the achievement wasn’t granted to them until after they first logged in.

i looked at that person’s achievements and every single one of them was obtained before dragonflight launch… the latest achievement being “re-re-re-renowned” on 11/02/2022
