Another Slap in the Face to the Forsaken

They’re calling trolls savage, beast-men. Tauren for disgusting animals. Orcs for savages and uncivilized.
Not to mention how they’re fully comfortable to just go and take/use land not caring when it’s occupied by one of these “savage” races. And then they try to exterminate said group when they object to it, because it is simply insulting that one of these “savages” would dare object against the dwarves, at least according to them.
I don’t know how this can not be xenophobic.

I just quested through Hillsbrad in classic as Horde, and you literally commit mass murder against civilians and create bio-weapons and test them on people., then get some pretty good rewards for your actions (though tbh a piece of blue gear might have been better), so it makes sense they wouldn’t be popular.

They’re calling trolls savage, beast-men. Tauren for disgusting animals. Orcs for savages and uncivilized.

All that is true though, that’s why I picked a troll.

The Alliance doesn’t get a say who the Draenei do or do not accept.

It doesn’t matter if the humans or elves or whatever else don’t like it. It’s not their choice.

I prefer the lack of acceptance.

Forsaken are better on their own developing delightful blights to spread.

They’d slap you in the face but your jaw would fall off

This is why Chaos is so awesome.

They’re an equal opportunity employer.

I’m willing to let it all slide if they finally straighten my back…

To be fair to the Alliance… the Alliance is a terrible faction and makes absolutely no sense.

Sky, if the shoe fits, wear it. Even if trolls don’t wear shoes. Trolls were largely savage beast-men. Hell, that was half of the Horde’s WC3 identity! “Honorable Savages.

See my point above…

Gonna need a quote on this one.

Still not seeing how this makes them xenophobic.

The dwarves neither feared nor hated the Tauren or anyone else. As you yourself noted, their main issue wasn’t that the Tauren were foreign, or had a different culture, it was that they were inconveniently placed for their pursuits, or tried to stop the Dwarves from pursuing their research.

This is not xenophobia. Dwarven attitude is closer to imperialism/colonialism than xenophobia.

I actually like it I guess from a story perspective? Builds the character of the Alliance as this military group of often reasonably self rightious good guys, but are plagued with a disgusting level of hypocrisy in who they allow into their ranks like the Death Knights, Void Elves, Lightforged and no Man’ari while maintaining the illusion that they are this perfect standard of moral good.

mate, i suggest you go back and read up on your lore. orcs were inherently violent already as is. before the fel kool aid incident. wod may have been an alternate reality, but they were still planning to invade azeroth before garrosh popped in and told em not to drink the demon girl bath water

Any more slaps in your face and your face skin will fly off, lol

I am not sure about you. But letting people redeem themselves/find a path of redemption for themselves is a “good” thing.

Yes it does. Especially considering they are members of it and these manari will be allowed in other Alliance cities. Having said that I dont think they will object as long as Velen vouches for the Man’ari.

Are we still taking shots everytime someone says “Slap in the face”?

I mean if you want to get alcohol poisoning I guess go for it.

Lol and there are already Undead in the Alliance too, with Night and Void Elves.

And Death Knights.

They just don’t want ugly rotten humans, lmao.

Meanwhile, me as an Man’ari walking around Stormwind with no issues whatsoever.

Flying those Legion spaceships sure was fun! I was only following orders!

That’s because the Forsaken are icky and gross.

Well,

the Forsaken story was written when Blizzard still had storywriters with heart and soul.

The Manari customisation, on the other hand, was implemented for goldshire inn on Moon Guard. Story is not that important there.

Didn’t the Man’ari choose to follow Kil’jaeden and Archimonde willingly because they believed they would get great power from Sargeras
